The Real Truth
Series 2 Chapter 3Afew weeks had passed and it was nearing Harry and Hermione's birthday. The Grangers had let Hermione come over to celebrate "Harry's birthday" at the burrow with them. Hermione told them in her letters that she would be picked up the night before their birthday and would be going home the day after. Harry was exited to have his birthday with his twin for the first time in a long time. He remembered how when growing up their birthdays we're as big as their mother could make them, while still keeping them a secret from everyone but the inner circle. Though he still couldn't quite remember everything. That confused Harry. It had been a year and he still felt like he hadn't recovered a third of his memories. He shook the thought away, they would come with time. Harry looked around him, seeing everyone in good spirits. Hermione would be coming tomorrow and Ginny couldn't stop saying how she was happy that she'd, "Finally have a girl around.". Ever since Harry had talked with her, Ginny ended whatever phase she had been in and had started hanging out and messing around with them again.
"Hey Harry, we're gonna play some quidditch wanna join?" George offered him.
"Duh."
Harry shadowed to Ron's room, grabbed his broom, shadowed back, scaring the living daylights out of twins.
"How do you do that?!" Fred exclaimed.
"It's like you apperated!"
"But silently."
Harry laughed, "I don't know what you're talking about boys." And walked outside leaving the twins gaping.
When Hermione arrived the next day she immediately threw herself at Harry giving him a bone crushing hug.
"Hermione- Don't kill me right before our birthday-" Harry joked through her tight hug.
"Oh- Sorry!"
Harry laughed and held his ribs, "It's fine."
Hermione laughed and gave Ron a hug as well. She dropped her glamour and looked at Harry.
"You look different."Harry gave her a dry smile, "Already got that from Molly and Arthur."
"But- I don't get it. You didn't have another glamor on you so how could your looks change so drastically?"
All eyes turned to Harry. They may not have said it earlier, but everyone had been wondering how Harry's looks changed so much.
"My blood adoption to Lily and James is gone."
Molly gasped.
"How could that happen? Did you want it to happen?" Hermione asked him urgently.
Harry shrugged and his face became serious, "They knew the entire time. The Potters and the Grangers, they both knew everything. They decided to help Dumbledore by taking us in after he took us. They we're going to shape us to be perfect for his plan. I don't want to be related to anyone who'd do that."
Mrs. Weasley shook her head, "Now I know I didn't know Lily and James that well, but they were in the order and that just doesn't sound like something they'd do."
