The Real Truth
Epilogue

The next two years were almost surreal for Hadrian. The Wizarding world at the most part had adjusted, at least, their area of it had, other places had different forms of government, but they'd get to that later. A system was set up and run by Tonks, Sirius, and Severus to take care of all of the magical births. Retrievers would go and collect the babies after their first few signs of accidental magic. If the family wanted to learn about the magical world as well and promised to keep it secret then they were brought into it as well. If not, the child was given to a magical family who would love and care for them. Creatures such a werewolves and vampires were treated the same now. Greyback and Remus worked relentlessly on making sure that the Cubs and baby vampires had ways to get what they needed to they didn't go on killing sprees. Lucius took over as the Minister of Magic, making sure everything ran smoothly, while Voldemort was now the Headmaster at Hogwarts, who Lucius still reported to. Rodolphus and Rabastan were the heads of the Auror department, running it with stone fists. The Aurors had to pass a series of vigorous tests and were the best of the best. Barty kept the curses under control, while the unforgivables were no longer banned, they made sure that people used them in the right moments.
Hadriel and Ginny had gotten their own place after getting engaged. It was safe to say that Molly and Arthur had come back from their trip confused. While they were furious at their children they quickly realized that they had done what was best and apologized. Hadriel decided to become an education administrator at the Ministry, she ran all of her plans by their father and checked over all the syllabus and requirements, decided what and what wasn't taught. Ginny became a quidditch player, she was away often, but she always came back and smothered Hadriel with attention and souvenirs from her trips. The two seemed to be living their happiest life, they'd even started o plan their wedding which was happening in a few months.
As for Hadrian and Draco, they were already happily married. Hadrian had kept to his word on the train that one day and proposed to him right after the war ended and things had settled down. Draco, of course, said yes. The two of them also got their own place. They lived in a "decently" sized house (At least by Draco's standards" on the edge of the woods. It wasn't big enough to be a Manor, but since they were the only people living there, it was more than big enough for them. They had enough guest rooms for their friends and family, a nice kitchen (Hadrian discovered that he actually liked to cook when he wasn't forced to do so), a few lounge areas, two studies, a dining room, and a gathering area. Hadrian had become the Defensive Magic Professor at Hogwarts while Draco had become the Potions Professor. Bellatrix was their Dark Arts Professor, Fred and George had become Experimental Magic Professors while still running their prank shop, Flitwick was still Charms Professor, Sprout, Hagrid, almost everyone stayed. Unfortunately, McGonagall left the school and went abroad, as well as a few others, but a lot came back after a year.

"Hey Draco?" Hadrian walked into his husbands study.

"Yes?" Draco asked, looking up from his papers, most likely class plans for the upcoming year.

"Have you ever thought about how empty this house is with just the two of us?"

Draco raised an eyebrow, "I was raised in the Malfoy Manor as an only child with a distant father and a smothering mother, to me this house is full enough."

Hadrian rolled his eyes, "I'm was just thinking that maybe, sometimes in the future, we should add some new people here."

Draco's eyes widened and he set his papers down, standing up to look at where Hadrian was leaning in the doorway.

"What kind of new people?" He asked, almost certain he knew what the answer was.

Hadrian smirked, "Oh, I dunno, I was think about some younger ones, we are getting rather old."
