The Real Truth
Series 2 Chapter 1Harry tore through the halls of the ministry chasing after Bellatrix. She was still taunting him, yelling over and over.
"I killed Sirius Black!"
Harry barely dodged the spell that was thrown at him.
"Bella, I swear if one of those touches me your dead!"
She laughed like the mental women she was and through a crucio over her shoulder. Harry ducked.
"Expelliarmus!"
Bellatrix's wand flew from her grasp in into Harry's. He pointed his wand directly at Her head.
"What are you doing?" A cool voice came from behind them.
Harry spun around, his wand still brandished, pointing right at his father, who was doing the same.
Something inside Harry shifted again, pain started to course through him, like a lighter version of the pain he'd felt at Gringotts.
"You knew the whole time... Why didn't you just tell me first year?" Harry asked him, wand still ready to fire a spell at any moment.
Voldemort raised an non existent eyebrow, "Would you have believed me?"
Harry paused before he continued to talk, "No..."
"After you refused to join me, I realized I'd have to wait for you to discover everything on your own."
"How do I know that what you're telling me is true and that Dumbledore is the one trying to manipulate me?"
"I cannot. It is up to you to chose who to believe. Though the facts are there. Dumbledore took you and your sister, he separated the two of you, allowed you to be abused for years just so you'd be easy to manipulate into doing what he wanted you to do at Hogwarts. Not to mention the compulsions."
"I never thought you'd admit to not being able to do something."
"Even the most powerful wizard in the world cannot do everything."
"Touché."
Harry looked at the prophecy. Harry watched as it replayed, this time Harry stayed Harry instead of becoming Hadrian again. Harry made a decision and threw the prophecy onto the ground. It shattered, a whisp of smoke emerged from the broken ball, showed a brief image of Hadrian, then disappeared.
Pain erupted throughout Harry's whole body and he did his best not to wince. He bit his lip but the pain quickly stopped."I believe you." Harry said. His glamour that he'd put back up dropped, Harry caught a glimpse of his reflection in the crystal clear water from the fountain. His blood adoption to the Potters... it was gone.
"You believe me?" Voldemort questioned him.
Harry nodded, "I've seen enough proof to know that I was used by Dumbledore. I've had enough memories come back."
Voldemort nodded.
They both stood in silence, Harry didn't know what to do. He had a bad feeling in his stomach, something was wrong. Quickly he put his glamour back up and pointed his wand at Voldemort right before Dumbledore apperated in. Quickly, Harry sent Bella through the floo and got a look of understanding from his father as he was pulled into a duel with Dumbledore. Harry watched their duel, he'd never seen anything like it. Suddenly, a large piece of glass flew right passed Harry's head, he barely dodged it and then he appeared in Dumbledore's office. He cursed. The old coot and sent him here! Now he wouldn't know what had happened...
