Series 1 Chapter 12
Harry and Ron made their to their dorm after the feast. Dean, Seamus, and Neville were already there when they walked in. Harry dramatically flopped, face first, onto his bed.
"I missed this bed." He said into the sheets.
Ron rolled his eyes, "Our spare bed isn't that bad Harry."
"It is compared to this."
Ron shook his head with a laugh.
"What do you mean?" Neville asked.
"Oh, Harry spent the summer at my house." Ron told him with a shrug.
"Harry!~"
The door opened and Hermione threw herself onto Harry who was knocked back down into his bed after starting to get up.
"Did something else happen over the summer for Harry?" Dean said, wiggling his eyebrows. Seamus quickly covered up his laugh.
"If only you knew." Ron said.
Harry rolled his eyes, smile prominent. "What's up 'Mione?"
She stood up and her expression became serious, "Guess what Ginny's telling everyone." Harry's eyes narrowed. "Apparently at dinner she told her friends, then they told people, who told people, and now practically all the girls are scared of me!"
"Why would they be scared of you?" Seamus asked.
"Because-... oh what's the point. I'm gay."
The three boys were shocked. "You're gay?!"
Ron's face hardened. "That's why Fred and George didn't tell any of us who their mates were!" He realized.
"What am I supposed to do now?! I can't even walk into my dorm without getting frightened looks from the other girls- Harry?!"
She caught him right before he left the room.
"Harry James Potter! What are you doing?!"
"I'm just going down to tell Ginny to shut up or I'll curse her into oblivion." Harry said, his eyes were practically slits, his anger obvious.
"You can't! Or did you forget that she knows all about-" Hermione stopped herself and looked wearily at Neville, Dean, and Seamus. "...him..."
Harry reluctantly let go of the handle and sat back down, "Well how else are we supposed to make her shut up?"
It was just then that Fred and George burst into the room.
"Harry-"
"You won't believe-"
"What Ginny is saying!-"
"She's saying-"
"That you two-"
"Are mates!" They finished together.
