-Two Weeks Later-
"Your hands are shaking," Kayden whispered against my neck, his fingertips brushing down my arm and my grip weakens again. "I wonder why," I scoffed and pushed him away. He's distracting me and he is proud of it. Kayden stumbles back and I easily released the bowstring. Followed by three other arrows, the third one splits the two down the middle in the center of the red arrow.
"Okay," Kayden huffed and circulated his hands around my waist, pulling me to his chest. "My turn," he whispers even though his body had different ideas. I drop the bow and arrows, already knowing what Kayden wants by the way his body reacts. I turn my head to the side, making it easier for his lips to claim mine. I know he's just doing this to ease my mind about the dinner tonight, he's been stressed out about it. Honestly, so have I but I tried not to let it show.
It's working.
"Let me see it," Kayden pouted and tugged on the top again. He's been begging to see my first tattoo since it slipped off Cole's tongue during breakfast last morning. I swat his hand away and attempted to roll away from him. Kayden grasped my wrists between one of his hands, his hips pressing down on mine to keep me in place. He easily dominated me.
"Why won't you let me see it? You've seen me in my boxers all the time," Kayden protested, pulling away from his hand yet I made no effort to push him away. "Yeah but it's different," I sighed. Kayden nods his head and lowers his face to claim my lips for the third time this morning. We're addicted to each other.
Kayden seems to remember something since his body stiffens and he abruptly pulled away, it was my turn to frown. "It's tonight," he groans and crawled off the bed, pacing the bedroom as in panic. "What is?" I asked. Kayden looks at me in a way that I knew it wasn't anything pleasant.
"Dinner. With my parents, they want you there. This was the conversation I had with my...dad at the gala thing," Kayden reveals.
"It's getting late, we should go get ready," I objected in the middle of our kiss. Kayden lets out a growl and pushes me against the nearest tree, his hand on the back of my head so I don't feel the pain. Kayden kisses down my neck and I have no choice but to pull him in closer. "Kayden," I whimpered when he starts sucking on the delicate skin.
"You're using me to forget about your parents," I pointed out. My eyes shut and I tilt my head towards the tree, his lips on my skin feel so good. "We don't have to go," he murmurs and I let out a squeal when he tugs my legs. They easily wrapped around his waist and I clung to him for life, afraid of falling. His lips hungrily reconnected with mine as he shoved our bodies together, my back pressed against the rough tree trunk.
It wasn't long until I surrendered and allowed his tongue to explore my mouth and tangled with my own. It was so easy to get carried away with him, the electricity flooding through my veins when he kissed me, the fire he would trail behind when he touches my skin. Cloud 9, Kayden makes me feel as if I'm on cloud 9.
