Alexandra

After Blaise was done hurting me. I got up to go clean off. It felt almost like a schedule. Like I had a time I was hurt, a time I needed to clean up, a time for class when I had to put on a mask. A mask that hides everything I have been through. The cuts have been stinging from what Both Draco and Blaise did.

On my way to class the next morning a ton of people looked at me as if they felt sorry and the other half as if they had questions. Some people asked me if I was okay. If I needed support. If I needed anything. I didn't need help. I just wanted to know what Draco has to prove. Is it that I am weak? That is the one thing I am not. I am very strong. Now I just sound self-centered. Wow. I need help.

I sit in my usual spot checking the seat making sure there aren't blades. Raising my eyebrows I sit down. Draco sees this and looks sad for me. But then hides it with a smirk. If he felt so horrible, why'd he do it? I am full of questions for him. I set my bag next to me getting my books. As I am pulling out my quill, Harry sits next to me. "Oh, hi Harry." I say trying to act cheerful.

"Hi, uh I heard what Malfoy did." He says, glancing at Malfoy. He starts getting his books as well. "So, are you okay? Do you need support with anything?"

"I am okay, I didn't feel a thing." I say feeling the stinging sensation start on my thighs. Slightly anyway.

"Okay." He says. He is silent after a while. He waves someone over. Red hair, tall, and he must be one of the Weasley's! I've been most eager to meet one of the Weasley's! "Alexandra this is Ron Weasley. Ron this is Alexandra-"

"Stone." I finish for him. I reach for Ron's hand. He shakes it and sits next to me.

"Hi, Alexandra- wait can I call you Lex?" Ron asks excitedly. I laugh and he laughs too. Out of the corner of my eye I don't directly look at him but, I see Draco clenching his jaw and fists.

"Yes, you can call me Lex." I smile. He smiles back.

Slughorn soon enters and Draco fixes his eyes on me. I smile at the front of the room, at Slughorn, but it was meant for Ron. I really like his company. I thank Harry for greeting us two. Harry has some really good friends. As soon as we are assigned our work, Ron turns to face me and Harry. Ron looks at my tie locking eyes with Harry. He mouths "She's a Slytherin?"

Wait. Realizing all of this. I smiled. I actually smiled.

"Yes, but I'm not like the rest. I am not mean, I am cunning though. I would never do that to Grffindor's. Just back at my own house. I almost got Ravenclaw though." I say like I did to Harry. Ron looked relieved. I did too. Much of the Gryffindor's don't even give me a chance to explain. I am glad he did. We all get going on the potions. We had an essay as well. It had to be five pages long. It was about the history of the Draught of Living Death potion. This is easy.

Ron looks confused at the potion. "Ron. I don't mean this to come across rude, but would you like me to do the entire potion. And when Slughorn looks over at us you can pretend to be working on it?" I ask him not pressuring him.

"Please." He says an laughs. I laugh too. He puts his and on my shoulder. I don't give this much thought. Draco does. He suddenly stood up. The whole class looking at him. He calmly sits down. I could tell he was mad about what Ron did. It wasn't even that much. He put his hand on my shoulder. Sense when was that a crime? I get back to the potion. And whenever Slughorn looked at us Ron pretended to help. I was okay with it. I liked doing things by myself. I was used to doing my own thing after all.
