Chapter 3: Caught in the middle
~
"Every bit of matter in the universe attracts every other bit of matter.."
"Eeeh di ako maka get over kagabi! Hihihi."
Nananatili lang ako sa pakikinig. I have a hunch na magpapa quiz 'tong si Ma'am any minute.. "With a force directly proportional to the product of their masses.."
"Sus! Porket yung naka blue na nasa gitna titig na titig sayo e noh! Wow ka fren! Mag share ka oy."
"Post ba yun sa fb para i share? Saka.. ano bang pinagsasabi mo dyan?"
"Ha! Hoy iha, anong kala mo sakin bulag?!
Pati buhok at ulo, ayon panot! Boom hugot! Boom pugot! Boom panot! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Maingay na pang aasar niya pa.
Pero—
"NAVAL!"
"Ay, hugot ang pugot na panot! Anak ka ng ina mo! Sunog sunog?!
WHUT THE!?
"Tsk! Hala sige, ano nga yung sinasabi ko? Ikaw na kaya dito!" Sigaw ni Ma'am.
Napatingin sakin si Jaeca with her eyes asking for help. Yan kasi, tsh! I then wrote something at the back of my notebook.
"Anooooooooo? Wala kang masabi noh? Hala, sige! Dyan kayo magagaling e! Hindi porket Section one, hindi ko kayo—"
"Every bit of matter in the universe attracts every bit of matter with a force directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them."
Jaeca cutted her off her words. "That was the law of universal gravitation according to Sir Isaac Newton."
"Ano Ma'am gusto niyo po bang i-cite ko pa yung equation and ipaliwanag where did that came from? As well as yung universal gravitational constant na hindi niyo pa po nadidiscuss?" She asked innocently but i know her too well, nang aasar ang isang yan. Adik talaga!
"T-tsk! Okay class get one whole—" The bell rang.
"S-study everything! May quiz tayo tomorrow. G-goodbye!" Nagmamadaling lumabas ito ng silid. Sigawan naman sila.
"Saved by the bell! Wohoooooo!"
"Yessss walang quiz!"
"Nakita ninyo yung mukha niya? Tinakasan ng kulay teh! HAHAHAHA!"
"Iinsultuhin pa niya section natin ah. Karmaaaa!"
"I really hate her!"
Napailing nalang ako sa kanila. Wala akong masabi. As i see it, everything is a total misunderstanding. Magaling si Ma'am Ibarra na guro, there's no doubt in that. She maybe underestimating us all the damn time pero i think it's just her way of challenging us. Her way to bring out the best we got, to came out of our shell, to face every pressure with courage.
