Complementary 2: What's Behind

Harry's POV

The study tour began on the first date of the month, it was the same date as my birthday. I honestly didn't expect much because I didn't really talk about birthday stuffs since I knew that I would spend all day on the road. No party and everything. Surprisingly, Sky pranked me and gave me a present. As far as I knew her, She wasn't the girl who pranked and gave surprise a lot. Having her to give me a surprise was such a nice feeling.

The other classmates, they also gave me a surprise with cake and all the birthday things. As the candles were blown, the wishes I made were blown with it. The light was off, but the wishes were bright. Everlasting friendship and love to surround, I guessed they were the big lines of my wishes.

Sky tried so hard to give me a good day and it really was a good day. She went out of her comfort zone, I noticed that. It was sweet of her to do such thing. I couldn't ask for a better friend.

Having done with birthday stuffs, we were all back to our seats. Both Skyler and I sat together. I put one of my earphones and the other one hang on Sky's ear. Our hands intertwined whilst the music was playing. It felt so right to have her beside me with slow music playing.

Just a second, her head fell to my shoulder, she was asleep. I placed her head to a better position. I could only smile at her sleeping face. I had watched her sleep before, seeing her sleeping in peace was something which made me feel the same peace. Sometimes I felt like I wanted to embrace her in my arms whilst she was asleep. But it sounded just not right as I remembered how it would be very weird for Sky having a friend doing so.

The next day, we arrived in Bali after a long trip. Sky was still asleep while the other people were already out. Some people tried to wake her up, including me and Gareth -who sat with me and Ahmad on the bus. She hadn't been awake.

"Skyler, hey, are you going to wake up now?" I stroked my hand against her cheeks gently.

"Sky, dibangunin si Ganteng. Bangun atuh." Wila said while standing beside me and Gareth. Wila got a very interesting personality. Just like Rara, she was full of energy. Yet, she was more like entertaining kind of person.

"I think she might be tired, Harry. She stayed until late at night." Gareth informed.

"You can leave her, I will wake her up." Miss Judy took charge.

I left her to Miss Judy and walked together with Rara, Gareth and Calvin to our room. Of course, Rara wasn't in the same room. Rara had been a really good to me lately. So, I didn't mind walking with her. Ahmad? He walked with us, so did his girlfriend -Alicia.

Until we all went to Bedugul, Rara had been the person who I was walking with. I called Sky once yet she didn't come, I thought she wanted to walk with her friends. But it wasn't what I expected, I saw her walking with nobody but her folded arms. She didn't even seem to talk to anybody. She didn't look like she was fine. There was no reason to let her looking like that alone.

I placed my jacket around her body and talked to her. Soon, I noticed her swollen eyes. Yet, she said she needed time to be alone. I began to worry about her. I caught her watching Gita and her friends last night. She looked like she was so afraid. I knew I respected her space, but this was not something I could forget about.

"I'm worry about her."

"Why so worry? She doesn't even think about you after what you've been doing to her." Rara sighed, she looked like she was kind of pissed off. It might have been really annoying to have me speaking about it while she was trying to have fun. "Just forget about what's not important."
