Kaori ran down the halls of UA, somehow late. She ran into the room, breathing heavily. She calmed herself and walked to her seat, sitting down. She was exhausted. Somebody walked through the door and she sat in the correct stance.
" Good morning, class." Her father said.
" Good morning, Mr. Aizawa." The class responded. Tsu croaked and place a finger on her chin.
" Mr. Aizawa, you don't have your bandages anymore. That's good news." Tsu said.
" Yeah, the old lady went a little overboard in her treatment. Anyways, we have a big class today on Hero Informatics." He said. Hero Informatics? Like hero laws? Or is it a surprise pop quiz? Aizawa was silent for a moment, but the next thing he said put the class to an ease.
" You need code-names. Time to pick your hero identities." Aizawa said.
" THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!" The class erupted out of their seats. Aizawa accessed his quirk, making himself look dangerous. The class settled back down, coming to a silence.
" This is related to the pro hero draft picks that I mentioned the last time we were in class together. Normally, students don't have to worry about the draft yet; not until their second or third year actually, but your class is different. In fact, by extending these offers to first years like you, pros are essentially investing in your potential. Any offers can be rescinded if their interest in you dies down before graduation, though." Aizawa explained.
" Stupid, selfish adults." Mineta said, banging on his desk.
" So, what you're saying is, we still have to prove ourselves after we've gotten recruited." Hagakure said." Correct. Now. Here are the totals of those of you who got offers." Aizawa said, clicking a button. Names and their offer numbers started to go down the list. 1st Todoroki, then her, then Bakugou, then Tokoyami, then Iida, and so on.
" In past years, it's been more spread out, but there's a pretty big gap this time." Aizawa said, knocking against the board.
" Gah! That's no fair!" Kaminari whined.
" What about the real star? Moi?" Aoyama asked.
" Todoroki and Kaori got the most, ahead of Bakugou?" Jirou asked.
" Yeah, it's the complete opposite of how they place in the festival." Kirishima said.
" They probably weren't excited about working with the guy who had to be chained up at the end." Sero said.
" If I scared a pro, they're just weak!" Bakugou yelled angrily. I got more than Bakugou? But I fainted at the end because I couldn't control him with my eyes. I should've come after him.
" Despite these results, you'll all be interning with pros. Got it? Even those of you who didn't get offers." Aizawa said.
" Oh, so, we're all interning?- ( OK! Pause. Rewind. -- " Despite these results, you'll all be interning with pros. Got it? Even those of you who didn't get offers." Aizawa said.-- Is mister broccoli deaf or what-)" Midoriya asked. ( BOI-)
" Yes," Aizawa said. " You already got to experience combat with real villains during the attack on the USJ facility. But it'll still be helpful to see pros at work. Up close and personal, in the field. Firsthand."
" And for that, we need hero names!" Sato said.
" Things are suddenly getting way more fun!" Uraraka said joined in.
