Stalking the Joker was almost too easy. Especially for Jason, who knew every detail about the security he kept. He had, after all, lived with that security detail. He knew how many men were always on site. He knew the rotations. He knew the entire survalence system programming. Everything from the camera locations to the entry codes. They hadn't changed because the Joker had no reason to change them. Jason was technically presumed dead and not a known threat. He wanted to keep it that way for as long as possible.

That night Jason watched from between two subdivision homes across the street from the Joker's.

Each night he finds himself only seconds away from taking out the guards, storming the house, and executing the Joker while he slept

Each night he finds himself only seconds away from taking out the guards, storming the house, and executing the Joker while he slept. But that would be over far too quick. The Joker didn't deserve fast. No, Jason's goal was to give the Joker one full minute of torture for every life he had taken. Hundreds. Thousands.

The peaceful silence of the night is suddenly broken as the Joker storms out of the house yelling. In his arms was the unfortunate child he no doubt stole. In his hand was a suitcase. The Joker's anger is all too evident and Jason can't help but be curious as to why. Was it a fight with Harley?

Moments later Frost is driving away with the Joker and the baby. Jason feels compelled to keep his eyes on the prize. So he cuts through a yard to another street where his bike was parked in seclusion. He mounts it and follows the Joker from a safe distance. Not that he was going to lose him, because he knew how to access the tracker the Joker kept on his vehicles.

Jason is appalled when he discovers that the Joker's car is turning onto the private road that led directly to Wayne Manor. He's disgusted that the Joker has fled from one lover to another. And judging from the suitcase, Jason assumes that the Joker is seeking refuge. Surely Bruce and Alfred wouldn't grant it.

The old cryptic sounding doorbell echoed throughout Wayne Manor. Alfred, who was about to retire to his room, wasn't used to visitors showing up so late. Especially when Bruce was out being Batman. Without laying down his pajamas, Alfred makes his way down the hall, past the medieval knight suits, and to the front door. When he opens the door his heart skips a beat, for there stands the Clown Prince Of Crime himself, with Johnny Frost at his side.
