Hey guys, just want to let you know that this is the second chapter I posted today. Three in the last 12 hours. Wouldn't want you to accidentally miss one!! I think you guys will appreciate this chapter!! Enjoy!

"Harley," Bruce calls out from outside of her room, "I have to go out, I won't be home early. Will you be alright on your own?" He waits, but when no answer comes, he turns the doorknob and slowly pushes the door open. "Harley?" He calls out again.

He sticks his head inside the door and looks around her room. However, he doesn't see her. He puts an ear to the bathroom door, but it sounded silent and empty, and no light was coming from under the door. He assumes she's probably in the den watching TV. Or maybe she was in the kitchen eating again. Pregnant women ate more often. He shuts her door and goes down the stairs as he pulls on his suit jacket.

"Harley?" He asks as he walks into the den. Yet, she wasn't in there either. That was odd. He wonders where she could be? Bruce shrugs it off and goes for the front door. He hasn't the time to search the whole damn house for her. Perhaps he should leave her a note so she doesn't worry? So he scribbles out a quick note on a notepad near the door. He props it up so that it's more noticeable.

As his hand reached for the doorknob on the front door, he froze. He reaches into his pocket and brings out his phone. He suddenly has a horrible deja vu as he brings up the survalence footage. Had Jason come back and found her? He had last seen Harley two hours ago in the kitchen. He sees her on the footage and follows the feed from room to room as she walked through several. She goes to the front door and then outside. From there she went into the garage. He watches as she gets in Alfred's car and leaves the garage quickly. Then she left the property and turned right.

"Goddamnit, what is she thinking?" Bruce sighs. His hands go to his head. He didn't have time for this. He lowers his hands and quickly brings up another screen on his phone. All of the cars had tracking devices in them. For situations such as this one. So he tracks down the location of Alfred's car. She went to Freeze's lab. Thank god she made it there safely. Bruce growls and rushes down to the Batcave again. He suits up and jumps into the batmobile.

The Joker lies in his bed with Harley asleep in his arms. His eyes stare up at the ceiling, deep in thought, as he listened to her breathing.

It felt so good to have her in his arms, even if he wasn't normally a cuddly kind of guy

It felt so good to have her in his arms, even if he wasn't normally a cuddly kind of guy. But a man that's been through everything he has in the last year, learns to reevaluate their entire life. Things that he used to see as weakness, things like love, marriage, and family, no longer felt weak. He's come to realize that they're the only things that really matter. Well, to Jack anyway. The Joker side had at least become more tolerant of Jack's flaws.

The Joker wonders what he ever did that was so right? What had he ever done to deserve to have Harley? Or Bruce? Even Ivy? Jake? Frost? Ace? Fuck, even Jason? Even every child he and Harley lost? Had he earned the right to rob Jason of an heir, simply to give himself one? What if, by some strange hand of fate, Jason finds out? What if Jason was willing to fight for the child just as much as he was? Who's to say who's right, and who's wrong?
