Jester stood in Sasha's penthouse window staring out at the city.

Since his shock therapy at Arkham he can't fully remember some of his memories. It was as if the shocks dulled them and stole some of their flavor. Was that how it was for J too? And what about Jason?
Jester's thoughts are broken by J joining him at the window. "Is everything alright brother? You seem...distant," the Joker says.
Jester's eyes fall to the floor. "Actually I have a question."
"Shoot," J looks over at him.
Jester pulls a piece of paper from his pocket. It was the one he had found hidden in the Joker's cell in Arkham. "I found it inside your cell at Arkham," he extends it out to the Joker.
The Joker looks down at it and reads over it "I was institutionalized," he sighs. "Wow, I can't believe you actually found this."
"What's the code written after it?" Jester asks.
"It's the card catalog information for a book in the library at Arkham," the Joker extends the piece of paper back to his twin.
"What's this about? Why did you hide this in your cell?" Jester's brows furrow.
"I was afraid I might forget. They were pumping me full of so many drugs, half of them experimental, and doing so many goddamn shocks that I was losing memories...This was something that I needed to remember. So I made sure I did," the Joker sighs.
"J, quit dancing around the question," Jester sighs, "Why is this book in Arkham important?"
The Joker's gaze turns out the window, "In the spine of the book is some paper work."
"What's in that paper work?" Jester swallows.
The Joker pinches the bridge of his nose and is silent for a long moment. "When I fell into the chemicals at Ace I suffered some side effects. Ivy was able to study the chemicals more closely so we could find out exactly what I feel into."
"And?" Jester looks on curiously.
"It was experimental. Some government bullshit. A... biological weapon. A highly contagious one at that. You see, no one was supposed to be able to live through exposure to it. It killed many Ace employees who breathed it in too much. But somehow I survived. Somehow I alone was different," the Joker stares out at nothing as he remunerates the tale to his twin.
