The Joker's lips fit together perfectly with Alexis's. They fit together like a designed set of machine cut jigsaw puzzle pieces. Their movements are in sync. A perfect simpatico. Their tounges dance together to a sexy music that wasn't even playing. They couldn't get enough of one another. Like young teens with their raging hormones, discovering their most primal instincts for the very first time.

The two of them felt as if they just couldn't get close enough to the other. Even if their bodies could merge into just one, it still wouldn't be close enough. If they were coursing through each other's blood, they'd still only be halfway to where they truly desired. Was it even a reachable destination? They didn't know, but they desperately want to search for it anyway.

Alexis's fingers blindly go to the buttons on the Joker's wet shirt as they kissed. With slow little plucks she unfastens each, one by one. When the last has been freed her hands push the wet linen aside. Her palms go flat on his warm chiseled chest. She already knew from police files about all of his documented tattoos. She knew the location of each. Her fingers perfectly trace them, despite not even looking at them. She doesn't need to, she had been seeing them in her dreams for many years now.

The Joker pulls out of the kiss. His fingers cup her chin, raising it to get a clear view of her face. He looks into her eyes, immediately realizing that they were a deep dark green. But just beyond the green he saw something surprising. Her pupils were but tiny pinpricks. Her eyes were like his. Pinpointed into madness. His kind of madness. The knowing too much, that everything is inevitably pointless and futile. He knows Alexis had one bad day that changed everything. That day was her awakening. And he was the one who had awakened her. It was pure poetry.

Alexis's fingernails slowly drag down his chest as they stare at one another. Her fingers settle at his pants. He can feel her toying with the button. "W-wait," he whispered, his eyes closing for a moment as he tries to straighten out his thoughts, "I should probably mention that I-I'm married."

"Yeah, so?" She asks in a sultry voice as she pops the button out of it's hole.

The Joker stares at her in wonder. She was everything he'd ever wanted or dreamed about. The ideal counterpart. Someone with whom he could share every last aspect of his life with. The perfect life partner and sidekick. All the years he spent alone... All the mistakes... The broken and failed love interests... His thumb brushed over her bottom lip as he dreamily asks, "Where have you been?"
