Jake slowly paced the floor of Wayne Manor as Bruce tried to find out what was going on with the Joker and Harley. He didn't know what to do. He didn't even know what J would do in a situation like this. Jake didn't know how to be a criminal. He didn't even know how to think like one. J never really discussed such things with him. Nor has Jake had a chance to see the Joker in action. J had been recovering and pretending to be dead since Jake had met him. Jake really felt a need to try to do something to help his family. Harley didn't need the stress right now, she was only three weeks from delivering. J's resurrection wasn't supposed to go down like this. Jake hasn't a clue how Jason will react, but his gut tells him it's going to be bad.

Ivy sat on the couch in silence, worried about Harley and the baby. How had this even happened? It couldn't have been Freeze, J had paid him far too well to use his lab as a hideout. Besides, Freeze had been arrested with them. Perhaps one of Freeze's men ratted them out. Ivy watches as Jake sweeps his green hair back with his pale hand. He was so worried. He hadn't wanted to sneak out of the lab with Bruce. He wanted to stay with J. But if he had, then all of Gotham would know about him. They'd ask him questions about why he looks just like J. They'd accuse him of crimes that he's had absolutely nothing to do with.

Jake sighs and pauses his pacing. He rests his hands on his hips, "I shouldn't have left J," he shakes his head and stares at the marble floor.

Bruce looks up from his laptop to Jake. "Jake..." He begins, but Jake quickly cuts him off.

"Jester," Jake looks at Bruce.

"What?" Bruce asks in confusion.

"That's my name now," he says softly and looks back down at the floor.

"Oh. I see," Bruce says. He doesn't fully understand why Jake has decided to alter his appearance to match J's. But for an identical twin of the Joker, Jake deciding to go by Jester seemed like a pretty logical decision. "Well then, Jester, J would have wanted your identity kept a secret. He would want you protected until he's ready to reveal you to Gotham."

"Yeah?" Jake asks with a huff, "Well who's protecting him?"

"J can take care of himself," Ivy says, "Don't you worry yourself sick about J. J's going to be just fine. He always is. Just trust me on this. J's led a life that's taught him how to survive, and you don't know that survivor side of him. He's so incredibly adaptable to every situation and circumstance you can think of. So try to breathe a little easier where J is concerned. Ok?"

"Then what about Harley? She's about to have a baby in jail. Do you know what they do with the newborn babies of fealons? They get taken away and given to family. And if there's no family, the state puts them in the system. That's my niece or nephew. I'm not a criminal, I could get the baby until J and Harley can reunite with it," he shifts his eyes back and forth between Bruce and Ivy.

"The baby is my family too," Bruce reminds him. "Also, I feel that I should point out to you that that pale skin and green hair is going to make it very easy for the courts to not side with you. Guilty by association. But me on the other hand..." His words fall short as he just shrugs.
