part 11

quintons game was over and we immediately hit the road after that. it is currently 9:30 pm. i'm in the car with josh, nessa and quinton. josh is driving and quinton is asleep on my lap since he's really tired from his game.
the cabin we're going to is 9 hours away so i guess we're gonna be in the car for a long time

after listening to music for a long time, looked out the window but everything looked the same since we were going kinda fast and it was dark. i fell asleep, putting my head on the head things.

Quintons POV:
i woke up and saw cynthia asleep, i felt bad because she was probably uncomfortable so i grabbed her head gently and put it on my lap while playing with her hair.

time skip: 1 hour

Cynthias POV:
i woke up and saw that i was on q's lap, he was playing with my hair. i turn my head so i am looking at him and he kisses me.

quinton: your finally up

i run my eyes and lift myself up. i put my head on his shoulder and he puts his head on mine while we watch the road
i see josh pulling in to a rest area, there are bathrooms and little shops.

josh: don't get too comfortable q, we're switching now

cynthia: what if i want to drive

quinton and josh both laugh at me and i see nessa trying to also keep in her laughter

cynthia: what?

josh: you? driving? no thanks, i'm not planning on dying at 18

cynthia: i'm literally good at driving i don't know what your saying

there was a silence and then everyone started laughing. i crossed my arms and turned towards the window. quinton hugged me

quinton: baby, don't be mad

i ignored him and kept looking out the window but then he started tickling me, and i REALLY ticklish. i bursted out laughing and i was a laughing mess, i kept trying to move away from him, sliding around in the car. i hear the nach girls and sway at the window so i pull it down.

cynthia: hey

nach: heyyy

i open the door and get out of the car, my legs start to tremble since i've been sitting down for so long

cynthia: fReSh AiR

nach: ahahah

at the rest area there is a little park with picnic tables so all the nach girls sit there (cynthia, lauren, madi, eva, anna, sabrina, mads, nessa, addison)

cynthia: how was the car ride?

anna: pretty fun except for me having to fourth wheel with eva, conner and sab, cooper.

cynthia: aww anna, you'll find someone don't worry

anna: i'm a pimp not a simp

the girls laugh and we head back to the car since we still have 7 hours left

nessa and i walk towards the car and see q sitting in the drivers seat and josh sitting in the back, so nessa goes in the back and i go to the passenger seat

quinton: we've been dating for a month im not sure what your problem is!!

josh: my problem is you hanging out with my younger sister all the time

cynthia: what's going on

quinton: ask josh
*he clenches his jaw* i can tell he's mad so i hold his hand

cynthia: what josh

josh: i don't think you guys should spend so much time together, i don't want you getting hurt

cynthia: what do you mean? we've been dating for a month, he wouldn't hurt me

josh: well i've recently heard some news

cynthia: what is it

josh: quinton has played a bunch of girls at his old school

cynthia: that was a year ago josh, he was 16. what makes you think he's still the same

josh: look cyn, i just don't want you to get hurt

quinton: fuck off josh, you've been on my ass since day one. if cynthia wants to be with me, that's her choice not yours

quinton starts to speed really fast

josh: what did you just say to me?

cynthia: quinton slow dow-

we hit a truck and our car flips. i hear a ringing in my ears and i see quintons face filled with blood, he's passed out as well as everyone else in the car. i hear bryce yelling

bryce : CALL AN AMBULANCE

i look at quintons face one more time before my eyes shut and i pass out.
