When her words spark an interest that is so divine
When she talks she sounds like an angel's shine
For when she speaks the whole world goes quiet
As if everything in this life is made to be on the sideline

She hides herself behind her pen and paperTo write down her poems in a letter
In bewilderment, she looks out her window
I stay silent as the ink cuts like a sabre
.

.
Her words like venomous snakes that slitherInto my trembling heart making me quiver
In love and shame, a place where fear resides
But what she says causes all of me to shiver

Escape her piercing gaze and turn the other wayLet the water take everything and I'll stand on the bay
She washes me with emotions without her I can't feel
Empty and hollow but with her I royally wish to stay
