Why am I so afraid to lose you when you're not even mine
It's a toll to hold on to, I'm losing my mind
Can't you let me rest in peace and leave out the pain
This is a growing agony, it's making me go insane
Seeking out the truth that's lying between your lies
Your heart, your thoughts, your laugh, your eyes
A dark shade of blue befitting the world right
Getting lost in the ocean, I'm drowning tonight
Would you jump after me if I let go of your hand
Would you chase me into the woods to an unknown land
Where my sun rises and the moon washes everything in silver
Where the cold breeze would blow onto your face making you quiver
Facing the so called "Reality" is a rock hardened burden
To carry on to let go of your doubts and be certain
That life is a maze for those who make it to be
Pretense will only get you so far as you can see
Life would be much easier if you know your worth
Your value, your purpose, your place in this world
