Your eyes have this way of catching me off guard
I find myself getting lost in trance
Regaining back the consciousness I've lost
If anyone has ever seen, then they can't blame me
Out in the desert as the night has befallen
Feel like a tiny pollen
Enamored of the sensual galaxy above your head
You gathered all of that in your wide, enticing orbs
How can someone not fall for that ?
Tell me !
Cause every time I see you my heart beats out of my chest
And I pray that you're deaf to it
I walk on carrying a torch for you
Howbeit, the wind is getting stronger and colder
In spite of me trying to keep you warm
You'll never see in my eyes what I see in yours
And I've grown okay with that fact alone
I'll take that as a sign to walk at my own pace
Perchance someone will light it up for me
I conclude from this chapter that at no time
Will I ever be able to make this flame ablaze
