The things I watch and the things I see
The things I say and the things I mean
Doesn't make much sense but it does to me
It's irrelevant what this all could mean
So let me make it clearer as I hope you'd see
We all watch the same thing but we have different point of views
Some will spread propaganda and some will seek the truth
You're ought to think that life would be much easier
If we believed the lies we're told
But don't you see the pain and the hurt that we'll hold
We are all the center of gossip and the word around town
When you rest your head on the pillow you'd still be overwhelmed
What did they say? What could it mean?
Life isn't supposed to be this way
But there's no way to keep it clean
Delete all the rumors and leave their hurtful words
Drop all the letters they spelled to make you bleed
We'll lose and lose again until we succeed
Know how to separate right from wrong
Don't believe what they say unless you're sure
You're under pressure, I understand
Life's a crusher no one is ever permanent
All is temporary is what I remember
The friends I've left behind and the love I've had
Gone but never forgotten, will always be held dear to my heart
I'll cherish our every moment and I'll mend every scar
And I'll hold on to these memories and lock them in a jar
So they're never abandoned and forever on my mind
As goodbye to all of these I would say
And the tears falling down isn't what you see
But you know too well that that's not what I mean
