This house feels so cold
This used to be my home
Dust all over the place
Silhouettes on the walls with no face
Spider webs in every corner
Harboring secrets I'll never tell
Memories I wish to forget
The fading sound of your laughter
Is one I'll always remember
I look around hoping you're still here
The fireplace left me cinders
Our rooms still look the same
But the colors are washed away
We said truths
We spilled lies
The tears stain my cheek
As your hand gracefully holds me
To get mine to meet your eyes
Secrets shall stay secrets
Don't worry I won't tell a soul
We bid our goodbyes
I'm leaving to find my way
Perhaps someone will find home
This house, shall again, feel warm
