Every strand of her hair holds a memory
And she's losing them one by one
She tries to keep what is left to herself
Maybe if shared it would all be gone
She looks pretty with a ponytail
She's cute with a bun
But her hair can't take it
So it sheds and sheds till there's none
Some of her hair has gone white
Some of it grey and some stayed brown
To keep a little youth
In an old soul to the age it is prone
She loses herself as her eyes' sparks fade
She is terrified of facing the sun
Afraid of the light it brings
So she hides in the moon till it's dawn
She became a creature of the night
She abandoned herself and what is known
Falling into a loop, it is never ending
She looks matured now she looks grown
She has surrendered to the dark
Little do they know she's a wolf, alone
A lone wolf without a pack
Without a place to call her own
Losing strands of her hair
She's putting up with pain that isn't shown
You hear laughter you hear jokes
But her cover now is blown
She declared herself dead
Going off the rhyme, she's still got HOPE
