When Will It Stop Suffocating ?

My blood My sweat My tears they were wasted

I've walked this path that was supposedly designed for me

I got past every obstacle fighting for what was meant to be mine

I've jumped through loops of fire and crossed an ocean filled with piranhas

I went to countless battles and managed to survive

The wars that were raised upon me crying for my demise

My body My mind My heart they were sacrificed

When I thought that I'd be met with a standing ovation

Instead I have reached a dead end

Naturally, my knees would bend and I'm on the floor

Blinded by the saltiness covering my vision

Grieving everything that I have lost

My lungs My legs My hands they were haggard

I am sick and tired and utterly exhausted

Every other thought persisting to intrude

Of how all my suffering amounts to nothing

I was always told that this road is the one I should step forward on

To never be tempted by broader, straighter, wider, and more colorful other ones
