I open the door carefully so I won't wake him up. I look around the room to find his wife was there. I walk across the room and sit facing her but on the other side of the bed. I don't talk to her, she knows I dislike her. The atmosphere grows awkward as time passes and I'm just staring at my dad. His face looks paler than before and he looks skinnier now.

"Is he ok?" I ask breaking the silence that was stretching between the two of us.

"He's been better." She says. "Kim I'm so glad your here, he has so much to tell you."

"I don't really know if I want to hear him."

"What do you mean?"

"I just came to see if he was ok but I don't think I'll be hearing him."

"How could you say that? Don't you feel sorry for him? He's the only father you have and you don't know if you'll have him for long." He tone started raising as she was saying this. My heart clenched a little inside. How can she say that like it means nothing? She just said my dad could die right in front of him. I started getting angry with her she has no right to tell me what to do.

"He left me when I was around five and now he decides to become a father. How does that sound?"

"It wasn't his fault he only came now."

"It is."

"No it isn't. Around four years after leaving you he was going to go back but he found out I was pregnant."

"What?" I can't fully understand her words.

"He was going to go back to you but I was pregnant and he said he would never leave another one of his children."

"NO, that's NOT true." I say feeling my heart hurting inside. This isn't true, this CANT be true.

"Kimberly I'm saying the truth. After Dorothy was born he was happy but every time he looked at the picture of the too of you he would cry."

"STOP LYING." i scream while my tears break through.

"I know how much he loves Dorothy but I also know how much he loves you." She stands up and walks over to me but I move backwards. After all this time I was hating on him, he was missing me? No that's not true. If he really missed me he could have at least called right?

"Kimberly please forgive him. Forgive me."

My chest hurts in ways I never thought possible. My knees are weak and I find my self in the floor crying. Both my hands are on my chest and I'm coughing pretty hard.

"Kimbe-"

"Please get out of here." I beg.

"Kimbe-"

"PLEASE."

Her face features change. Her gaze is giving me apologetic look and she doesn't say anything just turns around and walks away of the room. I look at the bed, my dad is still sleeping and I just cry harder. I crawl until My back is facing the bed. I wrap my legs in front of my chest and lower my head until my knees.

My eyes are starting to droop and my head is falling forward. All this crying is making me sleepy. 'You can't go to sleep now Kim' I say to myself. I start patting my face so that could takeaway my sleepiness hut that doesn't seem to be working.i start shaking my head and body maybe that would keep me awake.

"Kim what are you doing?" I jump to my feet once I hear my dads voice in back of me. I'm definitely not sleepy anymore. He looks so different, he had dark circles under his eyes and inside his eyes he has red lines. He forces a smile on his face and notice his bluish/purplish lips.

"Kim I'm so happy you came."

"I have to go now." I say walking to the door.

"Kim...ple..ase... Don't go." He says in between coughs. I turn my head a little looking at his saddened face and I don't know what to do. Do I stay? Do I leave? "Please." He says again looking at me. I turn around facing him now. I have to stop being so stubborn and listen to my fathers words. This could actually be my last chance to know what happened.

"I won't, but tell me what happened that time. Explain to me why you left and never came back. I want to know the truth."

"I will tell you everything."

"Wait before you to do can I ask you something."

"Sure."

"What's your current condition." I almost whisper the words as the knot in my throat starts getting bigger. His face changes to a half smile.

"Right now all I need is a donor."

"A donor?"

"Yes, my heart isn't working so I need a heart and liver transplant."

"Why the liver?"

"There afraid that is they only change my heart, my liver will not accept it."

I took a moment to process his words. It's a pretty big operation they will be performing on him. I hope everything turns out all right for him.

"Excuse me." I turn around to find a nurse and a doctor standing there. "We need to do some check-ups on him."

"Go ahead."

"And you are?"

"I'm- um I'm his daughter."

"Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you."

"I'm going to need you to step outside for a moment."

"Yeah sure, Dad I'll come back tomorrow. I kinda of ran from the house without telling mom."

"Hurry on home."

I exit the room and walk towards the Jo twins who are sitting in the waiting area. Kwangmin is fast asleep on Youngmins shoulder while Youngmin is looking at his phone.

"Let's go Youngmin."

"Finally." He said shaking his shoulders and Kwangmin opens his eyes.

The ride back to my house was very silent. It's now four in the morning and I feel like I'm going to die due to exhaustion. I step out of the car wave goodbye to them and walk inside my house.

"Where in the world have you been." I hear my mom shout while she throws a shoes at me.

"I was in the hospital."

"What?" She says calming down a bit.

"Yes, but I didn't get to hear what he was going to say. If you excuse me I'm extra tired I want a nap."

"As long as your ok, but never do that again please."

I nod my head and walk upstairs to my room leaving everything on the floor and throwing my self on the bed. I start thinking of my dad wanting to come back to me but didn't because of Dorothy. My eyes starting getting watery, I'm somewhat sentimental because of that. I shake my head so the thought would go away and without me even realizing it I fall asleep.
