Sleepover

You and Max are sat in your bedroom reading comics and listening to music. Plus messing around. Like you do.

You're both playing hide and seak. In your house. Which happens to have a lot of hiding spots.

You're the seaker.

"Max come on! This is unfair!" You shout.

You trip over something and hear quiet chuckles.

You find her.

"Okay that was rude. Why did you leave that there for my blind ass to trip over?" You ask.

"I lightly suggested it stays there." Max says.

"It's an inanimate object Max."

"Yeah and that's why it stayed." Max says.

You laugh and shake your head.

"You're next level strange Max." You say.

15 minutes pass and you're both playing would you rather.

"Okay would you rather kiss Mike or have to go on a date with Lucas?" Max asks.

"This is next level rude. Neither. I would rather shoot my foot." You say.

Max laughs.

Everybody knows you like girls. But Max and El never feel awkward around you cos they know you would never make a move on them.

"Okay would you rather.... go on a date with..... Dustin or kiss me?" You ask, semi joking semi serious.

You were joking about the kissing you part.

Max knows this.

"Uh..... i would probably kiss you." Max says, completely serious.

You can tell when she's being serious. And this is one of those times where she's completely serious.

"Really?" You ask, completely surprised.

She nods.

"Like genuinely serious?"

Max nods.

"Damn!"

You laugh. Max laughs.

"I was being like genuinely serious Y/n."

"I know. You have this look and this tone in your voice when you're being serious." You say.

"Am i that obvious?" Max asks.

You nod.

"It's a little painful sometimes." You joke.

She smiles.

"So what do you wanna do now?" You ask.

She shrugs. Then yawns.

"I'm kinda tired to be honest." Max says.

"Then sleep it is." You say.

You stand up. You help Max stand up but you end up slipping on something. You fall backwards onto your bed but play it off cool causing Max to laugh.

"I genuinely didn't mean to slip over then."

"Nobody means to slip over Y/n." Max says.

"Fair point." You say.

You stand back up. You both decided on sleeping in the same bed because neither of you have anything else to sleep on.

You two always do this. At this point, Max purposefully doesn't bring anything because you both end up cuddling.

Which both of you enjoy.

At around 2am, Max realises that she cant sleep. So, she just lays there. She looks at you. You're sleeping peacefully.

She gently places a kiss on your lips and then cuddles into you.

"I felt that." You say.

Max jolts up. You turn on the light and look at her.

"Y-you f-felt what?"

"The kiss."

She gulps. You smile lightly.

"And, i wont lie, it was nice. Why dont you do that when I'm awake and not in some weird ass dream?"

Max shrugs.

"I wasn't planning on doin it. It just happened." Max says.

"You're telling me that every time we have a sleepover you dont kiss me randomly at 2am? And then you dont cuddle into me."

She goes red.

"You feel those?"

"I feel them all." You say.

She looks down.

"And, i wont lie, they're pretty cool. One might even say enjoyable."

Max smiles a little. She looks back up at you. You yawn and sit up.

"You have complete freedom to do it again by the way." You say.

She goes red.

"I mean you dont have to but if you're gunna i highly suggest you do it before i fall asleep." You say.

Max kisses you. A longer kiss. One you can kiss back too.

When you both pull out, you smile.

"Wanna know something funny?"

"Sure." Max says.

"I've wanted to do that since we met but I've genuinely never had enough courage for it."

Max smile. You both lay down and she cuddles into you.

"I dont bring a sleeping bag on purpose. Your warm and i like it when we cuddle." Max says.

"You cheeky little person." You say.

Max laughs.

"I wont lie, i like our cuddles too. And you're just as warm." You say.

She smiles. You turn off the light and you both fall asleep.
