I'm with my best best friend Max right now. We're sat watching Karate Kid. I hate this movie and only watch it because Max likes it and has a damn crush on whats his face... fuckin... Ralph Macchio.

I don't see it personally. But that's just cos i like girls. Max is bi. So i suppose she gets it.

"Surely you can't hate this movie that bad." Max says.

"I literally only watch it cos you like it." I say.

"It's a good movie!" Max says.

"Whatever you say." I say.

The film finishes and we decide to make use of that pizza money Max's mom left us. Her mom is out of town. Billy, Max's douchebag older brother, is elsewhere. Her step-dad is with her mom. So it's just us two.

We order the pizza and just sit on the sofa waiting for the food. Max has the money in her pocket.

"So i was thinking, tomorrow, all of us go to the arcade. Play some games. Then go hang out at Mike's house afterwards." Max says.

"Hell yeah. Totally tubular dude." I say.

Max swats my head. I just laugh. Max puts the TV on. We just sit talking while waiting for the pizza.

"Y'know, I'm not gunna lie to you, i don't like that guy you've been hanging out with." Max says.

"Is that jealousy i smell?" I ask.

"Yes. Yes it is. That guy seems so.. blech. Y'know?" Max says.

"Yeah i know. But he's actually really nice." I say.

"He really doesn't seem like it. Also seems like he just wants to get some. If you know what i mean." Max says.

"Ew Max! He's gay and i like girls!" I say.

"Hey I'm just saying. Some guys pretend to be gay just to get some." Max says.

"I have never met a guy like that. Ever." I say.

"I have! I'm just warning you." Max says.

"Nah i think you're just jealous." I say.

"Well yeah i am. I'm your best friend." Max says.

"That you are, dude, but i can make other friends." I say.

"Hey hey I'm not saying you cant. I'm just jealous cos someone else is getting all of your time and attention." Max says.

I smile.

"Sounds like someone has a little crush." I tease.

Max goes red.

"Okay yeah and so what if i do?" Max says.

I feel myself going red.

"You have a crush on me?" I ask.

"Yeah. I do. What are you gunna do about it?" Max says.

I'll tell you what I'm gunna do about it. I sit forward and kiss her. She sits in shock for a moment before kissing back. She holds my face while i put a hand on her sofa just next to her.

We kiss for a solid 10 minutes before getting interrupted by the door. We pull back. Max is a mess I'm not gunna lie. So i take the pizza money and get the pizza. I pay the guy and he leaves.

We sit on the sofa and eat while watching a tv show. After about 2 weeks, we started dating.

Considering myself lucky.

So i know it seems kinda rushed. I'm fully running low on like motivation rn. All i need is a lil patience. Thank you for over 400K reads on this book  means the world.
