"I'm not going anywhere"

Sadie has been diagnosed with BPD. Which is going to make life incrediblt difficult for her. She's waiting for you to get back from the shop with the shopping for her to tell you.

You finally get home. Sadie helps you with the shopping and helps you put it away.

"Y/n i need to talk to you about something." Sadie says.

"Okay. What's up my love?" You ask.

She sits down and pats the spot next to her. You sit down and hold her hands.

"I've been diagnosed with BPD." Sadie says.

You sit a little surprised.

"Oh. Wow. Uhm... okay. When did you get diagnosed?" You ask.

"Today. About 40 minutes ago. I was waiting for you to get home to tell you." Sadie says.

You nod.

"I know this could change your opinion on me entirely and if that's the way it's going to be then please tell me because i dont want you to lie to me and lead this longer than you want it to be." Sadie says.

"I'm not going anywhere. I love you. You're my girlfriend. I'm marrying you. I'm growing old with you. Whether you have BPD or you dont. You having BPD will not define you. And i wont let it. And neither will you. I'm not leaving you. Ever." You say.

Her eyes tear up.

"You really mean it?" Sadie asks.

"Of course i do. I love you. With all of my heart. I will love you forever. You are stuck with me. No matter what you do. No matter who you are. No matter what mental illness you have. I wouldn't even call it a mental illness. It's just a hurdle you're going to get over. And you're gunna get over it. And I'm gunna be with you the whole way. Cos like i said, you are stuck with me. I'm not leaving you. Ever." You say.

The tears slide down her face. You pull her into a hug. She lays her head on your chest and cries. You spend almost an hour calming her down and getting her to steady breaths. When you do, she pulls back from the hug. You cup her cheeks and wipe away the tears.

"I love you. So much." You say.

She smiles softly.

"I love you too."

You place a kiss on her lips.

And you did mean it. You stuck by her the whole time. It didn't go away but i got better. You married her. And you lived together for the rest of your lifes. Happy.
