I like me better

You're a singer and we all know that Sadie is an actor. You and Sadie have grown so so close lately. It all started when she was in one of your music videos. And you two have been best friends ever since. Which is basically like 3 years now. Closing in 4 actually.

But recently, she's been itching to spend more time with you. Like any chance she gets to spend even 15 minutes with you, she'll pounce on the idea. But nobody knows why. So, you're gunna ask her.

You're both currently sat in her trailer on set for season 4. You're writing songs for another movie. She's going over her lines.

"Hey Sades?" You ask.

She hums.

"Can i ask you something?" You ask.

"Yeah of course." She says.

You look at her.

"How comes you've been itching to spend more time with me lately? Like any chance we get to hang out you'll literally pounce in the idea." You say.

She goes a little red.

"Because.... because i like me better when I'm with you. I'm like a better person when I'm with you." She says.

"Really?"

She nods.

"I feel so much.... i dunno like nicer when I'm around you. I prefer myself when I'm with you." She says.

"Wow. To be honest i didn't know." You say.

"You're not gunna when i can keep a secret." She says.

You smile a little. A few weeks pass and Sadie is layed on the sofa in her trailer. Bored out of her mind. But you are coming to visit soon. Then Millie and Noah burst into the trailer.

"Wow. Knock much?" Sadie asks.

"You're not doin anything." Noah says.

"Yeah but i coulda been." Sadie says.

"Yeah whatever. You're too tired to be doin anything. Look at this!" Millie says, shoving her phone into Sadie's hand.

"Wow okay."

Sadie presses play on the video which is an in studio interview with you. About the new song you brought out that Sadie had no idea you'd done.

"So, what's your new song about?"

"Well, I'm not gunna go into too much details about it but it's about a close friend. They said those exact words to me maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago and it's just stuck with me and the more i think about it, the more i realise that i do like myself better with her too. Like, life, seems so much more amazing when I'm with her and i just wanted to make a song about it." You say.

"Any insite onto who the person is?"

You laugh.

"Nope. She'll know who she is but i dont feel it be right to tell everyone who it is without her permission." You say.

The video ends.

"Have you heard the song?" Millie asks.

Sadie shakes her head. Millie plays the song and Sadie goes a little red. But Millie and Noah dont notice.

"It's a good song. Who do you think it's about?" Sadie asks.

"I dunno. You." Noah says.

"Why me?" Sadie asks.

"Because this song came out exactly 2 weeks after Y/n stayed the night with you." Millie says.

"I dont think it's about me." Sadie says.

"You're not gunna. But i definitely think it's about you." Noah says.

About an hour passes and you finally show up.

"Man traffic near here sucks so bad." You say.

"I heard your new song Y/n." Sadie says.

"What do you think?" You ask.

"It's really good. Who's it about?" Sadie asks.

"You obviously. We had that conversation and you said those exact words." You say.

She goes a little red.

"And i wasn't lying either. The more i thought about it, the more i realised how much better i am with you." You say.

She smiles. You sit down next to Sadie and you both look at each other.

"When are you free? Aside from today?" You ask.

"Why?"

"Cos i'd like to know if you'd like to go on a date with me and just wanna know when you can do it." You say.

"I'm free today. Why not today? It doesn't need to be anythin fancy. Just you and me together." She says.

"Are you sure?"

She nods.

"Positive."

You smile.

"Then lets go. You and me. Wherever you want." You say.

You both decided on going on a walk to this little park area. You both spent hours there together just layed talking. At some point, this comes up on your phone.

"Singer Y/n Y/l/n and Actor Sadie Sink spotted holding hands together not much longer after Y/n's song came out and after she confirmed it was definitely about a close friend. Could Sadie Sink be that best friend?"

You roll your eyes and you both just remain layed on the grass together. Holding hands. Content and chilled. Happy.
