Prank on set

Your POV

I'm on set today for Stranger Things 4. Big day today. It's my day with Vecna. I love Jamie. I'm sat next to him while he gets his makeup done.

"Y'know i really don't know how you do this. I couldn't. The whole sitting around for hours thing." I say.

"The things i do to look pretty." Jamie says.

I laugh. Eventually, we're on set. I'm with the Duffer brothers. They're going through my scene right now. We have camera crews recording the behind the scenes stuff to put it out on YouTube when the full season is released.

"Okay so basically, you're gunna walk through that door into your bedroom. There's another door you've never seen before. So you open it. Nothing but a box. In it is a letter to you from Max." Matt says.

Max is my girlfriend, sort of. Our characters started dating last season, coincidently when we started dating in real life. Billy died and the relationship fell apart off screen. Which didn't happen with me and Sadie.

We're going strong. Started dating in April 2019. It's now October 2021. 2 years almost. But we're going good. We actually moved in together just before the whole world shut down cos of Covid but that's a story for later.

"We'll call cut when you grab the letter. Make sure you put fear into Blair. It's a door you've never seen before. Hesitate a little. Freeze a little. You're good at that stuff." Ross says.

I nod.

"Solid. Hey have you seen Sadie anywhere by the way?" I ask.

"No. I'm assuming she'll be in her trailer waiting for her scenes." Matt says.

I nod. I get into place. She normally watches me film my scenes. So i will admit, i do find it kinda odd she's not here right now. But I'll probably find her later.

"Okay and... ACTION!"

I walk to my bedroom door and walk in. I shut it and stand against the door. I put my head in my hands. In this scene, it's following up from a really major argument between my character Blair and Max.

"God damn it man.."

I push out a deep breath and take my hands off my head. They usually let me have free reign over most of the acting i do with Blair. Which has definitely made me a fan favourite character.

I look at this door. I frown a little. The cameraman is next to me, zooming in on my face. I stand looking at this door.

I walk over to the door, caution being a big thing right now. I wouldn't be tearing the floor up getting to this door in real life I'm not gunna lie.

I slowly approach this door and cautiously reach for the handle, shaky hands a little. It's all in the body language for this scene. The camera is behind me so it's all body language.

Gotta look like I'm scared. And I'm doin good i dare say.

I grab the handle but freeze for a minute. I take a deep breath and open the door. Sadie jumps out, screaming as she does. I scream, let go of the handle and stumble back. Falling over my feet in the process.

Everybody is dying of laughter right now. I'm sat against the bed trying to catch my breath. Sadie falls out of the door, laughing uncontrollably.

"You guys SUCK!" I say.

I manage to gather myself and then laugh a little.

"We got you good!" Sadie says.

"Yeah you did! Asshole!" I say.

She starts laughing again.

"That's definitely going on YouTube after this season comes out." Matt says.

I flip him and Ross off. This was definitely their idea. Sadie helps me up and hugs me. I hug back. We look at the camera.

"Stranger Things 4 baby!" I say.

When we finish for the day, me and Sadie go to my trailer. We're staying here tonight because we have an early scene to shoot at around 2am. So we don't wanna be travelling far.

Me and Sadie are sat on the sofa cuddling.

"You're an asshole for that lil prank on set by the way. Scared the fucking shit out of me." I say.

"Now now babe. It was only pay back for season 2 when you did the thing in the arcade." Sadie says.

Flashback
Sadie's POV

"Okay aaaand... ACTION!" Matt yells.

I'm playing Pacman. I actually rock at Pacman. While I'm just playing the actually really prolonged scene out, I'm actually bossing it.

The cameras are pretty far out. Just getting a wide angle cos I'm pretty sure Y/n is with Gaten and Caleb behind this wall. I'm very very close to destroying Y/n's pretty damn good high score.

While I'm playing, Y/n jumps out from behind the machine. I scream and fall over. Literally everybody is dying laughing. I am SO getting her back for this.
End of flashback

"Wow yeah i remember that. We were such babies in season 2 oh my." I say.

"I know. It's actually insane. But i think that prank really started our friendship." Sadie says.

"You just couldn't stay away from me after i nearly gave you a heartattack. You were new. I had to do it. You didn't get the season 1 pranks so i brought it to season 2. It's become a running thing now though. We got Maya good the other day." I say.

Sadie smiles.

"Yeah we did. And in my defense, you were pining after me the second we met." Sadie says.

"Hey i was a baby gay. Fresh out the closet. I never saw anybody like you before." I say.

She looks at me, a wide smile on her face.

"Wow you do have a soft side!" She says.

I smile and roll my eyes.

"You knew it was there." I say.

"Course i did. Knew it the second i met you." Sadie says.

We kiss and pull the sofa bed out. We grab the duvet and pillows. We lay in the sofa bed and cuddle, falling asleep holding each other.

I will get her back for that prank. It's a war now. A war i will win.

Thoughts? I thought it was quite nice. Had to do my researching and shtuff. Mainly when season 3 came out and when season 4 filming began. I started watching Stranger Things in lock down.

Absolutely hated lock down with a burning passion. Aaanyways.
