It's been almost 4 months since you pushed Max out of the way, saving her life but losing yours. This is what happened.

Max's pov

I'm gunna die. The mindflayer has me cornered. I hear a whistle. The mindflayer and me look over and see Y/n. She looks pissed. I cant help but smile. I love her so much. I wouldn't know how to cope if i lost her.

She throws what's in her hand at the flayer and runs to me. She grabs my hand.

"Come on! Lets go!"

We both run while the others throw rockets at the flayer. It looks at us two. We stop. Then it goes to throw its arm at me. I prepare and then, just like that, Y/n pushes me out of the way. I slide across the floor and watch Y/n get the flayers claw pushed right through her stomach.

"NO!!! Y/N!"

The flayer explodes and i run to Y/n. I hold her.

"Y/n! Hey!" I say.

She opens her eyes and looks at me. I smile reassuringly to her.

"You're gunna be okay. El!"

They all run over.

"M-Max."

I look at Y/n.

"Hey. You're gunna be okay. I promise. We're gunna help you. El please! Do something!"

El puts her hand over Y/n's stomach and closes her eyes.

"E-El." Y/n says.

El opens her eyes.

"You wont be able to do anything." Y/n says.

"N-no. No El do something." I beg.

Y/n grabs my hand and i look at her.

"I love you."

"Dont do that." I say, tears streaming down my face.

"I'm dying Max. Gotta say it some time." She says.

She reaches her hand up to my face and wipes my tears.

"How bout one last group hug?" Y/n asks.

We all hug her. I cry my eyes out onto her shoulder.

"Y/n you're gunna be okay." Will says.

"I love you so much." I say to her.

"I love you more." She says, placing a soft kiss onto my cheek.

We sit back giving her some space to breathe. Jonathan, Nancy, Robin and Steve run in.

"No Y/n!" Steve yells.

He runs over and slides next to us.

"Hey Steve." Y/n says.

"Y/n just hang in there. You're gunna be okay. Someone do something!"

"We tried." Mike says.

"No no. Come on Y/n. Stay awake."

I look down at her. Her eyes are closed.

"Hey. Hey Y/n. Open your eyes. Please." I beg.

She struggles but manages to open her eyes.

"Thank you all for taking me in when i had no friends. You have no idea how much i appreciate you all being there for me. But it's time for me to go now."

"No it's not! You keep your eyes open!" I say.

She manages to lean up far enough to place a kiss on my lips. Then she lays back down.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

She closes her eyes and goes limp.

"N-no! No Y/n!"

She died in my arms. All because of me.

End of flashback

Max's pov

It's only been 2 weeks since i last came and visited but I'm going again. I bring her favourite comic and a tape player for her favourite song.

I sit down in front of her tomb and play her favourite song.

"Okay where did we get to before?"

I flip through the pages and find where i got to. I continue reading where i left off. I soon finish the comic and just sit there.

"I'm so sorry Y/n. It's all my fault you died. If I'd just... ran a little faster you'd still be here. I'm so so sorry." I say, tears streaming down my face.

I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look to my left but there's nobody there. I frown, tear still spilling down my face like a waterfall.

"Hello?"

"It's not your fault."

That sounds like Y/n. But she's not here....

"Y/n?"

"There's a way to bring me back. But you need El's help. It wont take too much out of her. Just a slight nose bleed. Do you have a pen? You need to write it down."

I fish out a pen from my pocket and a spare piece of paper. I write down everything i hear her say to me.

"I'll bring you back Y/n! I promise!"

I grab the things and run to El's house. I knock on the door. Hopper opens it.

"Hey Max. What's up?"

"I need to speak to El. Immediately!"

(Hopper didn't die by the way. Meanin the Byers and El didn't poof off into another state)

"Whoa hey what's going on?" He asks.

"Is El in?"

He nods.

"I need to speak to her right now."

He steps aside. I walk in and go to her door. It opens before i can knock.

"What's happened?" El asks.

"We can bring her back."

"Who?"

"Y/n."

Her eyes widen.

"Gimme the paper."

I pass it to her and she reads it all. She nods.

"I can do it. But it's gunna take a few days to prep for." El says.

"Thank you so much."

"I know how much she means to you. I'll do anything for you to be happy again. I know when i tell the others they will too." El says.

I hug her. She hugs back.

"Now lets get Y/n back."

Yes I'm doin a part 2. No i cannot end it unhappily. I'm incapable. I have never been able to make an unhappy ending. It's just not a vibe. Max imagines are taking off now bitches!
