Chapter 50

Tris POV
Tobias looks at me before answering. "Today after training, Shauna came to me. She asked to meet her in the training room tomorrow, she wants my help in the fights." He says. I try to swallow my built up anger. "Are you mad?" He asks me. "No." I lie. He seems to believe me. "No, I'm fine with it." I lie some more.

I feel mad and upset. First he's meeting another girl alone! Second she doesn't need help, yea she's not the best but she's not me! I need more help than she does. Tobias plays with a strain of my hair as I sit here thinking. "I'm gonna go find Zeke." Tobias says and kisses my cheek. I don't say anything back and let him go. I bring my knees to my chest, I let out a sigh.

At least he told you tris! Yes he told me but I'm still pissed about it. My thoughts are interrupted when Shauna walks into the dorms. "Hey tris!" She says finding her bed. "Hi." I mumble back to her. "Are you coming to dinner? It's staring soon." She says and I nod. I'm uncomfortable being in the same room as he right now but I can't help it.

We walk together to dinner and sit down with chris, will, Al, Marlene and uriah. "Hey girls!" Mar says happily. Tobias and Zeke come walking in soon too, tobias sits next to me and Zeke in the side of Shauna. I'm practically squished up against her! I eat in silence as the chatter goes on. Tobias is laughing along with everyone and it's nice to see him that way. Happy.

I don't want to spoil that, I don't want my jealousy bringing him down or getting him angry. So I push my anger and burning jealousy aside. (For tonight at least.)
