I walk all the way to Tobias's house and knock on the door. Once I do I realize I forgot that Marcus could possibly answer the door. The door opens to reveal tobias. Whew! "Hey." He says. "Hi. Can we talk?" I ask and he nods letting me in. We head up to his room and take a seat on the bed. "What's wrong?" He asks taking my hands in his.
"My parents and caleb sat me down today." I say Caleb's name as if it was venom. "To talk about what?" He asks nervous. His face tells me he knows something of that he's hiding something. I ignore it and answer him. "They know about us. They don't like it. My father says I can't be with you, it's not allowed." I say hanging my head. He lifts my chin so that my eyes meet up with his. "It's okay." "No it's not. I love you too much!" I say and a small smile appears on his face. "I love you too." "We can be together soon." He says and I nod. I know he was talking about the choosing ceremony. We can be together after that if we transfer together. We both have reasons to leave so it's a good plan.
Tobias's reason is more important than mine by far, but I'm glad we both want to leave. I love him, more than he knows.
