Chapter 22

Tobias POV
I wake up with my arms wrapped around her. Her breathes are so steady (especially for having a guy in her bed in only his boxers) I pull a strand of hair out of her eyes and tick it behind her ear. I kiss her cheek and very carefully I get up, I try not to wake her. I get dressed in her bathroom and come back to fold the blanket on the floor. I look over and see that tris is stirring. Soon enough her eyes flutter open and she smiles at me. "Morning princess!" I whisper not sure if her family is still sleeping. "Hi." She says back and goes to get changed. She comes back and gets her school things ready. "Let's head downstairs." She suggests and I follow her.

We get down to the kitchen and her mother and caleb are making breakfast and her father is working on papers. "Morning." Beatrice says to them all. "Good morning dear! Hello tobias how did you sleep Hun?" She asks very sweetly. "I slept well thank you." I say politely. "Are you two hungry?" She asks putting two plates of food in front of us before we can answer. Beatrice and I eat and her family soon joins.

We realize we have 20 minutes to get to school so we wash out plates and grab our things. "It was a pleasure having you tobias! Come over any time!" Her Mother tells me and her father smiles. "Come on" beatrice says to me and we exit her house.

"Thank you. I enjoyed last night." I say and she looks up and kisses my cheek. "I love you tobias. I hope you know that." She says and my heart starts beating a mile a minute. "Yes. I do know, and I want you to know that you are the best thing that has ever happened to me." I say taking her hands in mine. "And I know people say that and it's not always true... But in my case it is. Beatrice you gave me a safety with you. Love and kindness." Her eyes fill with tears, "I love you beatrice." I say and she jumps into my arms and cries into my shirt. She pulls back and kisses me.

I kiss back of course and it seems as if we are the only two people here. Her long golden locks fall over her and they add beauty to her. (Even though she doesn't need it.) we break apart and smile. We then walk to school. Hand in hand, arm in arm.
