Tobias POV
"Four." Amar calls out. I get out of the uncomfortable metal chairs and make my way to the chair in the small room. "Ready?" He asks before plunging the needle into my neck. I blink a couple of times before they close all together."Tobias." The eerie surroundings mix with the Echo of his voice. He walks into the small ring of light and it shines on half of his face, the left side only to be seen, the other half covered by darkness. "Tobias. I tried to teach you." He says. He walks up closer and more light spreads on his face. "You leave me no choice." He says walking all the way to me, his whole face present. That's when I realize, his face has the blood, the scratches, the scars, and the bruises I left the day before.
"You don't scare me." I say boldly. He laughs with evil coating it. "You scared me once, but no more." I say. For a second I think I see his face soften into nervousness but if it did you can hardly tell. "Your mother was afraid, why not you?" He asks. He's holding a leather belt in his hand, ready to wipe at any moment. "You're right. She was afraid, so was I. But I've grown, I've gained." I say.
"I have things that you never will." I tell him. That's when he runs and let's the belt fly in the towards me. I duck under it and grab it from him and hit him. He screams on agony and I jerk awake.
"Still just as impressed as always stiff." Amar says with a smirk. I smile just a tad and walk back out. I take my seat next to tris again, she looks at me with curiosity and compassion. I lean and whisper in her ear, "I still have you." I say. My lips lightly brushing her ear. I pull back and she looks up at me, letting our eyes meet. She smiles.
