Rekis pov

We all walked into S and I impatiently stood in the crowd next to joe and cherry. "Langas gonna win." I mumbled and joe didn't turn around. Carla started spitting random facts about the race and I tuned her out. I leaned on Miyas shoulders as the lights started to turn red above them. The shot off and Langa pulled behind him. I saw how shaky he was at the beginning, since me took off this toe stops. I looked at the screen after they disappeared and Miya squared down. I fell forward and sat up. "Does your mom even know where you are?" I asked and Miya stared at me "Does your mom know where you are?" I glared at him and huffed "Youre a pain." I stood up and dusted myself off. I looked back at the screen and the crowd started to move to the warehouse.

I pushed forward and got close to the finish line. They entered the building and Langa flew through the air. My face light up and I watched him tentatively. He landed on the railing and the guy behind him fell of his board, causing him to fall down the stairs. Langa looked back at him and quickly finished before running up to him. He kneeled infront of him and helped him up. I bit back my smile. 'He's so perfect' I thought and ran up to him.

I hugged him from behind and the warehouse started to clear out. "Good job baby." I whispered and he turned to me slightly. "We're in public." The guy stumbled off and we walked back to joe, cherry, shadow, and Miya. We were all talking and I glanced at Langa. We all eventually walked to joes car and him and shadow and cherry were talking. I looked around and Miya was distracted in his phone. I walked off the side with Langa and cupped his face.

We kissed slowly and I was flipped onto the fence. I held the back of his neck and the kiss got sloppy. There was a flash and Miya snickered. "Your never going to live this one down." I pushed off Langa and picked Miya up my his jacket. He kicked me "DAD!" He yelled and joe turned around. Miya started laughing then choked slightly. "Rekis killing me". He mumbled and I dropped him on the ground.

They all looked at us and Langa had pink marks around him mouth. I wiped my mouth and shadow looked at Miya. He was staring at his phone and I picked it out of his hand. He grabbed my leg and started clawing me "Why are your nails so damn sharp?" I screeched and dropped his phone. Langa picked up his board "I'm going home." I looked at him and picked my board off the ground "Bye!" He yelled and joe grabbed the collars of out shirts. "Where do you think you're going?" He both stared at him and he looked at us carefully. "What did Miya do?" He said quietly and I looked at the ground. "I'm don't wanna say." I crossed my arms and cherry picked the phone off the ground.

He put it over joes shoulder and his eyes widened. "Alright you owe me 20 bucks." Joe said and we both stared at him "You bet on us?" Langa said under his breath and he dropped our shirts. Joe laughed softly and I even saw cherry snicker. Miya walked up. "Hey dad, let's go back to the restaurant." He glared at him "I'm not your dad, kid." Cherry watched them and joe glanced at him. Miya poured and grabbed his phone back. "I'll send it to the group chat." I ran after him "No you won't!" Langa grabbed me. "Let's go home." I rolled my eyes and we skated home. It was quieter than usually. "My mom said you could come over." Langa said and I nodded "Did you tell her yet?" He shook his head "Not really."

We walked into his apartment and his mom was cooking dinner. She turned around and smiled "Hey reki." She bowed softly and I waved my arms "d-don't do that." She walked over to Langa and hugged him. "Did you have fun at rekis?" He nodded and waved me over as he walked in his room. He locked the door and threw his skateboard against the wall. I watched and gently placed mine down. 'Why's he being so aggressive?' He laid down and threw his jacket on the floor. I sat beside him and laid my head on his side. "Are you angry?" He shook his head and closed his arms. "I'm just tired." I watched his face "Youre never tired." I whispered and he hit the top of my head "Go get some dinner." He mumbled and rolled onto his stomach.

My head dropped and I stared at his back. "Langa~" I fell on his back and wrapped my arms around him. "I'm cold." I whined and he pointed to the cabinet "You know where they are." I rolled my eyes and grit my teeth, 'wow he's clueless.' I thought and lifted the soft tufts of his hair up. I kissed the back of his neck and he moved under me. "Why are you mad?" I mumbled before nibbled on his ear lobe. "I'm not mad." He persisted and I flipped him on his stomach, holding his face "Tell me." I got close and he just looked in my eyes. "What if Miya does something with the picture?" I chuckled and punched his cheek. "Miya wouldn't do that, he likes me too much, I mean maybe not you, but I was still in the picture he wouldn't share that too anyone who didn't already see it." He rubbed his eyes and there was a knock at the door. "Let's go eat." I whispered and kissed his nose before heading to the table.
