Hold me close

I walked through the halls in the school and Langa walked up to me. "Hey." He said with a soft smile and I nodded. "Hi, how was English?" He shrugged and held his binder in his hands. "Easy, I don't know why I have to take that class." I laughed softly and fixed my backpack on my shoulder.

"Hey, do you want to maybe come over after school to watch a movie or something?" He asked and I nodded. "Yeah, of course." Langa rubbed his neck and looked away from me. "I'll see you at lunch." He said and walked into a classroom.

I walked to Langas house and set my things down on the table. "So, what are we watching?" I asked as I grabbed a blanket, curling up on the couch. "Oh I'm not sure, I was gonna let you choose." He sat down beside me and I looked at him. "Well alright." I took the remote and scrolled through Netflix.

Langa leaned closer to me and I paused, watching him. I moved the blanket onto his lap and sniffled to break the awkward silence. He wiped his mouth and looked at me before quickly looking away. I glanced down and then clicked on a random show. We sat in silence, neither of us moving a muscle the whole first ten minutes.

I finally broke and scooted a little closer to him. He fixed the blanket to cover his chest and he put his hand right next to mine, our pinky's barely touching. I let out a small breath and looked in his eyes. "Did you invite me over just to watch a movie?" I asked as I moved my hand on top of his. He glanced down at my lips and shook his head softly. I moved closer and stared at his lips.

"What else should we do?" He leaned forward with me and our noses bumped together. I let out a shaky breath and he held my hand tightly. I ducked my head down and our foreheads pressed together for a second. I lifted my chin and grazed my lips past his. He closed his eyes and pecked my lips a few times.

I moved my hand onto the side of his face and slowly kissed him back. The show played in the background and I desperately clung to him, wanting more. He picked my face up and I pulled back, kissing his jawline. He blushed and ran his hands through my hair, slowly untying my headband.

The door shut and I pulled away from him, wiping my mouth. I pulled the blanket off his lap and he put his arm over his lap, slowly bringing his legs to his chest. I scooted away and kept rubbing at my mouth, watching the show absentmindedly. His mom walked in, in her scrubs and her hands full of random things. "Hi honey." She kissed langas forehead and walked into the kitchen.

Me and Langa made eye contact and we both blushed like crazy. I looked away quickly and his mom yawned as she walked into her room, shutting the door. I grabbed my phone, trying to find something other than whatever this is to focus on. Langa made a soft noise and set his forehead on his knees. "I'm sorry." He said shakily and looked over at him, seeing a thin layer of tears covering forming in his eyes. "Sorry." He repeated and wiped his eyes, sniffling.

I scooted closer to him and gave him half of the blanket. "You're not half bad." I said and stared at the tv. He looked at me, a little confused and I turned my gaze to him, smiling. "Langa, I wouldn't have kept kissing you, if I didn't want to." I said under my breath and reached under the blanket for his hand. I held his hand comfortably and he wiped his eyes one last time. I set my head on his shoulder and squeezed his hand, rubbing my thumb on the back of his hand.

I walked to class the next day and felt a hand fall into mine. Langa appeared beside me and held my hand comfortably. "Good morning." He said and I smiled, blushing slightly as I looked down at our hands. "Morning."
