I sat with Langa outside and glanced over at him. He was spaced out, looking at the ground and I sighed before turning back, looking at the sky. "Hey, are we going to s tonight?" Langa asked and looked up at me slowly. I turned and shrugged. "I wasn't, but you can." I smiled softly and kicked the rocks under my feet. "No it's fine, I'll stay home."

It was quiet for awhile and I looked out at the moon. "Hey Langa, isn't the moon beautiful tonight?" I said before I could think and he just gave a sincere smile. "Yeah, I think it's pretty." He looked back out and scuffed his shoes against the ground.

Oh. Has he never heard of that before?

I blushed out of embarrassment and stood up. "I'm gonna go inside." He nodded and I walked into the kitchen. "Hey mom, can I ask you something?" I said and she looked up from the stove. "What?" I played with the fingers and glanced at the front door. "Hypothetical, if you were to tell someone how you feel, in a discrete way, and they don't get it, what are you supposed to do, hypothetically of course."

She hummed to herself and smiled. "He just doesn't understand, just telling him in a way they do over in Canada." I blushed profusely and stared at her. "It's not Langa." I protested and she looked over her shoulder at me. "Baby, you can lie to me all you want, but I've seen how you look at him, it's like you've got stars in your eyes." She chuckled and shook her head softly. "Young love is so special, you know, me and your father." I cut her off and shook my hands. "No, Nevermind, I'll just look it up." I walked out and into my room.

I searched through countless things, trying to figure out how to tell Langa how I feel. The door opened and I clicked my phone off. I turned back to Langa and he walked over, completely indifferent. "Hey." I said and he laid down on my bed beside me. "Why'd you come inside? I thought it was nice outside." I shrugged. "The bugs were biting me." I lied and he looked at me. "Uh can I ask you something?"

I nodded and set my phone on the table. "Today when we were doing kick flips, I noticed you kept..." I stared at him as he talked, yet I didn't hear a single word after that. God I'm so stupid. I looked at his lips as he talked on and on, the slight mumble of a voice in my ear.

I leaned forward and connected our lips. He sat there, completely still and I kissed him slowly. He leaned into the kiss and my face started to flush red. I placed a few pecks on his lips before backing away. I looked down and then peeked a look at him. He was staring straight at me. "Maybe you should start skating with your first higher on the board." He mumbled, finally finishing what he was talking about.

I laughed softly and put my face against the bed. "Youre such an idiot Langa." I smiled and looked over at him. He gave a pitiful laugh and I just know noticed how shaky his hand was. He reached forward and grabbed my face, moving closer to me. My eyes widened as he shakily kissed me. I touched his hand on the side of my face and kissed him back.

I moved onto my back and he slowly leaned over me. I put a hand on his lower back and my other on the back of his head, deepening the kiss. His lips felt cold against mine, and his dainty hands held onto me tight. I lifted his shirt up a bit and scratched his lower back, his back felt warmer the longer I touched him and we paused to catch our breath. I pushed him onto his back and crawled ontop of him.

"You know I was trying to tell you I loved you earlier." I said and he scanned my face. He shook his head and I put my forehead against his chest. "You'll get it one day." I smiled and kissed him softly. He looked into my eyes and we both blushed like crazy. His eyes fluttered shut and my door opened. "Reki, do you..." my mom trailed off and I turned to look over my shoulder.

We were all dead silent and I wiped my mouth. "Mom..get out." I said quietly and she nodded quickly, before shutting the door. Langa covered his face and I laughed softly. "Oh god, she's gonna want to talk to me about this." I groaned and fell off his lap. Langa looked over at me and smiled softly.

He looked down at our hands and I made eye contact with him, before slowly moving my hand to hold his. "Uh, do you want to go on a date with me, or something? Or nothing, we don't have to do anything." I said awkwardly and he nodded. "Sure." He said quietly and leaned over, kissing my cheek. "It's a date." He smiled brightly.
