Skate the Infinity one shots

How it all started

I sat at my desk and laid my head down, facing towards Rekis desk. He walked in and sat down pulling out his notebook. I watched him and he glanced over over at me. "G'morning." He had a toothy grin and I couldn't help but to hide the faint smile on my face. He went back to writing something, I'm still not sure what it was but it was enough to fill the whole page of his book.

I watched him tentatively and opened my mouth. "Reki." I said quietly but a girl walked up to his desk. He looked up and smiled "Morning Mei." He said and I could tell he was in a really good mood today. I turned the other way and pulled out my book to get ready for class.

I skated home with reki and he seemed quiet. "Do you think someone would want to date me?" He asked and I looked over at him. "Yeah, why not?" He shrugged. "No ones ever asked me, should I ask them first?" I watched him. "You can." I muttered and he smiled "What do you think people like most about me?" I sighed softly 'he sure does talk a lot' I thought but even when he talks my ear off, I couldn't be happier.

"Your smile, it lights up the room." I said before I could think and we locked eyes. I hit a peddle and fell forward off my board. I lands on my back and stared at the sky. Reki snickered and I looked at him. "Don't even." I mumbled and sat up. He stood over my legs "You like my smile?" I paused 'I like a lot more than that.' Is what I wanted to say but I settled on, "yeah it's alright."

He smiled brightly and my throat felt dry. "Come on clumsy." He put his hand out and pulled me up. We skated home and he set his board up against the wall. "Would you date me?" He asked and I looked back "What?" Reki smiled and put his hands out. "Would you date me? Like hypo-genetically or whatever the word is." "Hypothetically?" He nodded "Yeah that."

I played with my board. "I guess, I mean if I had to." Reki smiled "Okay, good night Langa." He hugged me and I stood still. "Good night." He whispered again and didn't let go of me. I felt a small pressure on my cheek and he pulled away with a pink face. He walked a few feet and then looked over his shoulder "Umm, its not hypothetical." I was completely frozen. I watched him carefully. "Oh-h okay." I picked up my board and walked inside.
