Hopeless

I texted Langa, late at night, unable to sleep.

Me: hey
4:28 am

Langa <3: why are you up?
4:36 am

I stared at my phone and tapped the side of it, trying to figure out what to say.

Langa <3: are you okay?
4:38 am

My eyes caught a glimpse of something on the wall and I zoned out, staring at the dark wall. My phone rang and I panicked, picking it up. I let out a breath and laughed softly. "You should've told me before, I didn't know my ringer was on." I whispered and he let out a sigh. "Is everything okay?" He asked and I chewed at the inside of my mouth.

"I miss you." I said and curled onto my side, hugging my pillow. "I feel cold and my bed feels empty." I added and he let out an amused breath. "Reki, S'okay. I'll be there in the morning." I nodded to myself and my lips started to bleed at the constant biting. "Yeah, yeah. It's fine. I just miss you is all."

I could hear his smile as we talked about random things and then he yawned into the phone. "I'm going back to bed. I love you." He had a tired voice and I replayed those simple three words in my head. 'I love you, I love you, I love you.' I smiled and squeezed the pillow tight. "Okay, I-" I cut myself off and he yawned again. "Mkay, love you, baby. Bye." He hung up and I slowly set my phone down, all warm inside from his 'I love you'. Now I definitely won't be able to go to bed.

"Reki." Langa said in my ear and shook my arm. I opened my eyes, extremely disoriented and he smiled softly, pushing my hair back. "Did you sleep well?" I ignored him and put my arms around his waist, burying my face in his stomach. I relaxed and he rubbed my back. I yawned and stretched my legs a little before sitting up. I looked at him and put my chin on his shoulder. "I want to kiss you." I mumbled and he held my face, bringing it to his. He smiled and kissed me gently.

His slightly chapped lips made my lips tingle and I realized how scratchy my throat was. I pulled back from him and covered my mouth. "I have morning breath." He smiled and shook his head. "Youre fine." My stared at him and my heart was weak.

Oh wow he's such a good boyfriend. He's perfect. Langas perfect. I breathed out and I pushed him down. I laid down ontop of him and squeezed him. He pushed my hair back as it fell in my eyes and I smiled at him. "S'pretty." He said and my heart raced.

Oh god.

I'm so in love with him.
