First date

A few weeks later Langa took me out on a date. Well he never used the words date but it was definitely a date. He smelled like after shave and I've seen enough movies to understand what that meant. The sun was setting and we got out of the car, by a small park near a lake. I walked beside Langa and grabbed his hand, holding it comfortably.

"Why'd you drive me all the way out here just to sit in some park?" I teased him and he stopped walking once we reached the sidewalk. He leaned down and pulled me into a kiss. "It's supposed to be romantic." He whispered and looked in my eyes with a soft smile. I blushed and looked at him for a moment. He continued walking and we stopped by the railings. I sat down and slid my legs under the railing, leaving them dangling over the water.

Langa sat beside me and I leaned on the railing, looking at him. "Langa, come closer." I whined and tugged on his sweatshirt. He fell a little as he moved closer and I put my leg on his thigh. "Youre such a dork." I squeezed his thigh and closed the small gap between us. I rested my head on his shoulder and smiled to myself, his arm wrapping around my back. We stayed like this for awhile but then it got dark and mosquitos started falling all around us. I weened off of him and pushed off my pants. "Let's go get something to eat." I said and he stared at me.

"Will you be my boyfriend?" He said suddenly and i started giggling at the worried and nervous look on his face. He turned bright red and covered his face. "Did I ruin it?" He asked I cupped his face, kissing him quickly. He melted in my hold and I placed light pecks all over his face.

"Yes. Oh my god yes. What took you so look you idiot?" I smiled like crazy and he stared at me. "I don't know." He smiled and he laughed softly, covering a bit of his face with his hand. I grabbed his hand and stood up. "Come on, I'm getting bit."

We ran to his car and got in, laughing softly. I looked at him and put my hand out. He slid his hand comfortably into mine and I leaned my head against the head rest. "Can we keep things to ourselves for now? Like we don't have to act like strangers at school, I just don't want to be that couple."  He nodded and I smiled shyly. "Yeah- yeah I'd like that." He leaned over and placed a soft kiss on my lips. I smiled against his lips "okay, I'm hungry, get me some food."
