I walked Reki to his class and he kept trying to grab my hand. I glared at him and he smiled softly. "Stop." I held back a smile and elbowed him lightly. He stopped outside of his classroom and leaned against the wall. "Why won't you let me?" He asked and took my hand before noting his hand to my wrist. I glanced down and then back up at him.

"Because, I don't want to. And we're not dating, it'd be weird." He chewed at his lip and slowly moved his hand into mine. "Can we change that?" I glared at him and took my hand away. "I'm not dating you, that's absolutely disgusting." I teased him and he squinted slightly. "Mh I'm sure." I pushed him lightly into his classroom and he glanced back at me. I walked off to my class before the bell rang.

I met reki by our cars after school and he grabbed his wallet out of his car before looking at me. "Can I get you some lunch?" He asked and I stared at him. "What? So you have an excuse to confess to me?" I asked and fixed my hair. He smiled and leaned against me slightly. "Why can't I ask you out?" He asked and pouted. I leaned against my car and he put his hand on my waist.

"I'd treat you so well." He stuck his bottom lip out and rubbed my side gently. I chuckled softly and pushed him away. "I'm good." I smiled and he looked in my eyes. "Langa, have I told you that you look absolutely stunning today?" He looked at me with bright eyes and I tried to open the door of my car. "Not today." I mumbled and pushed him off of my car gently. I got in and turned the ac on. He leaned over a bit and watched me. "So I can't get you lunch?" I smiled at him and shook my head.

"Not for those reasons." I said and bit my nail. He sighed and backed up, shutting my door for me. He leaned in the car, resting on the door. "You should give me a chance Langa, I'd treat you so well." He sounded a little sad and I leaned over, "Mh, maybe one day." I said and he stared at me with soft eyes. "Oh I'd love that." He said under his breath and I giggled. "But it's a big maybe." He nodded and got off my car. "Alright, bye Langa." He waved softly and I waved back, before driving away.

After months of reki relentlessly asking for dates and hugs and holding hands and maybe an occasional kiss once in awhile.

I broke.

I sat in his room with him and set my head on my knees. "Langa, how about we go to-" I pressed my eyes "Can you just stop for five minutes?" I interrupted him and hugged my knees to my chest. He stopped talking and lightly touched my back. "I'm sorry." He said softly and hugged me gently. I stared at my lap and pushed all the weird feelings away. "I'll stop." He mumbled as he pulled away and I glanced up at him.

I sighed and put my head against the wall. "You are such a pain in the ass." I muttered and looked over at him. He looked away from me and I put my hand in his, holding it. The room was quiet and I stared at the wall. "I give up." I whispered and he slowly curled his fingers. I glanced over at him and he smiled at me. "You scared me for a second." He laughed softly and cracked a small smile. "Does this mean I can buy you dinner some time?" He asked and I thought about it for a second.

"Depends." I said and he smiled, moving closer to me. I took my hand out of his and turned to him, hugging him comfortably. He giggled and fell on his back. I laid beside him and he put a hand in my hand, my head resting comfortably on his chest. "Mh why did I wait so long?" I mumbled and reki stayed quiet, lightly twirling my hair. I closed my eyes and slowly fell asleep.

I woke up in rekis arms. He was watching something on his phone and I lightly rubbed his back. He looked down at me and smiled. "I think I'm in love." He whispered and I pushed his face before sitting up. "Nope, that's it." I teased him and he chuckled softly. "Too far." I said and found my hoodie on the ground before putting it on.

I looked at reki and smiled softly, scratching the back of my head. "I'll uh- see you tomorrow." He nodded and smiled back. "Bye Langa." He waved softly and I stuffed my hands in my pocket. I walked over and leaned down, kissing his cheek. "Alright, bye." Reki smiled and bit his lip slightly. "Bye." I cleared my throat and left his room, saying goodbye to his family as I made my way out.
