I laid down on the floor of rekis room and prayed I wouldn't dream about that again. I curled up and faced away from reki. The last month every night I've had a dream were reki, no matter where I am, is kissing me.

He never says a word, never looks at me, he just starts kissing me and it's over before I can even think. I looked over my shoulder and reki was passed out, snoring softly. I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep as well.

I opened my eyes and felt an arm around me. "Not again." I mumbled and turned to reki. "Let's just get this over with." I pulled the collar of his shirt and he flinched. He looked straight at me as I kissed him and his hands fumbled around. I closed my eyes and finally felt him kiss me back. He wrapped his arm around my neck and it seemed to last longer than it normally did.

I pulled back from him and pulled the blanket over me, trying to go back to sleep. "Langa?" I said in my ear and my eyes shot open. "Why did you just kiss me?" I sat up and covered my face with the blanket. "And why did you say not again? Are you okay?" I cursed myself and peeked at him. "Youre awake?" He laughed lightly. "Yeah." He looked at me like I was crazy and I pressed up against his bed frame. "It's stupid. This is all stupid. I'm sorry reki."

I shook my head lightly and reki just laid down. "Why were you next to me in the first place?" "Why did you kiss me?" He retorted and I pressed my lips together. "You kissed me back!" I shot back and he gasped. "What else was I supposed to do? You can't just do that, what if I hurt your feelings." "It's a little late for that reki, don't you think?"

The door opened and I turned my head. "Why are you boys shouting?" His mom said and we glanced at each other, giving a stink eye. "Sorry mom." Reki mumbled and she huffed out as she closed the door. It was dead silent for a while and I quietly laid back down, covering my face. "How did I hurt your feelings?" Reki whispered and I ignored him.

Idiot.

I'm such an idiot.

I wiped the tears coming out of the corners of my eyes and stared at the floor. "Langa, I'm sorry." I heard the door opened and it shut louder than he probably intended.

I laid in the quiet room and sat up slowly, wrapping my arms around my legs. I made my way out into the living room and saw the door slightly open, the curtains being moved by the wind. I walked outside and reki was sitting on the porch, staring at the ground.

I sat down next to him and he sniffled real quick, looking away from me. "Sorry." "What?" He croaked and looked over at me, his eyes all red from crying. "I'm sorry." I repeated and played with my hands. "How did I hurt you Langa?"

He wiped his face and I bit at the inside of my mouth. "It doesn't matter, it's stupid. It's some stupid dream." I mumbled and scratched the side of my neck. "What do you like dream about kissing me or something?" He laughed a bit and then sniffled.

Bingo.

I set my head in my hand and poked at the sandy dirt. "Oh." Reki breathed out and it grew quiet between us. I nodded slowly and looked at him. "It's okay, man. It was an honest mistake." Rekis usual bright smile returned and I couldn't stop myself.

I slowly leaned forward and he watched me carefully. I grabbed the side of his face and left a long kiss on his lips. He put his arms around my neck and kissed me back. He leaned on me and I planted little pecks on his lips.

I ended up on my back and we exchanged soft kisses until the sun came up. I glanced to the side and saw the orange light peaking up over the hedges. Reki looked in my eyes and my heart thumped in my chest like crazy. He pulled me up and we sat there in comfortable silence for awhile.
