I sat by kojiros car after school and he slowly put his arms around my waist. I looked over and squinted because of the sun. "You're not as slick as you think." I told him and he smiled softly. He squeezed my side before letting go and my skin tingled a little. I looked at him and punched his side playfully. "I hate you." He nodded. "I know, I love you too." He blew kisses at me and scrunched up my face in disgust. "Drive me home." I said and got in the car before he could say something else.

He dropped me off and before I could get out of the car he put a hand on my arm, stopping me. "Hey, do you-" he rubbed his nose and put his car in park. "Do you maybe want to go get something to eat? Sometime?" I squinted at him slowly picked up my bag. "In what context?" I asked and he looked away nervously. "A date? Maybe?" I sat there in silence for a minute before shaking my head. "Nope, I'll pass. Thanks for the ride home." I got out and waved at him.

A few days later I sat in class with Kojiro and put my feet on his chairs footrest, facing him. He took a moment before looking up from his paper and I groaned. "Go get me something from the vending machine." I said and he glanced at his backpack. "I forgot my wallet at home this morning." I sighed and dug in my pocket. "Fine I'll go get it myself." I said and got up to leave. "Wait I'll come with you." He followed me out and we walked to the end of the hallway, to the best vending machine. It was always full.

I sighed and put my dollar in before selecting the number. I glanced at Kojiro and he was checking something on his phone. I punched his side gently and he jumped a little, hiding his phone screen against his stomach. My chips fell out of the machine and I stared at him. "What are you hiding?" I asked and poked his stomach. He shook his head with a slight chuckle. "Nothing, you just scared me." He explained and I eyed him before grabbing my chips. We walked back slowly and he put a hand on my back as we walked down the empty hallway. I knocked it off lightly and looked over at him. "Listen, I know I'm hot but I still have boundaries." I said and he paused. "What are you doing? We'll get in trouble if we're gone too long."

I crossed my arms over my chest and he stared at me. "Can you just give me a chance?" He asked and I glanced down before starting to walk again. "No, we'll never be anything more than friends, sorry." I said and he caught up to me, walking back into the classroom. He sat down and didn't speak to me until the end of class. "Do you maybe want to see a movie with me this weekend?" He asked and I glanced over as I packed up my bag. "As a date?" I questioned and he shook his head. "No Um- just to hang out. As friends." I paused and thought about it for a moment. "Sure." I said and we walked out of class together, heading towards his car.

I stood infront of the mirror and smoothed out my outfit, tucking in my shirt. I sighed and tilted my head slightly before untucking it. Ugly.
I reached into my closet and looked around a little before taking off my jacket and putting a new one on. It was a light purple and I have a silky white shirt on. You could hardly see it but I really wanted to wear it. I looked at my pants and smoothed them out a little. I stared at my legs and groaned before picking up my phone. Kojiro was waiting outside and I glanced back in the mirror, fixing my hair. I paused and grabbed my shoes. Why do you care so much?

We stopped at the store and I looked at him. "Why are we here?" He chuckled and opened his door. "We're going to get candy, it's fun to sneak it in." I glared at him and tried to hide my smile. "Whatever let's just hurry, it's starting soon." We walked into the store and went to the candy aisle. We stood there and looked at everything. I picked out some chocolate and grabbed gummies for him.

He looked at me and took them from my hand. I chuckled a little and he grabbed a few little things before heading to the checkout. We stood in line and I reached for my wallet. He stopped me and smiled "I'll pay, it was my idea anyways." He said and I stared at him for a moment before taking my hand back. We got out to the car and we quickly drove to the theater. I put everything in my puffy jacket and zipped it up. He looked at me and laughed. "Here I can put some in my jacket so it's as suspicious." He grabbed a few things and put them in little spots.

We walked in and we got our tickets before going to the room they told us. It was dimly lit still and we found our seats. It was fairly empty and I unzipped my jacket, giving my things to Kojiro. He got his things sorted and he leaned back in his chair, sighing. "You're making this seem awfully like a date." I whispered and looked over at him. He looked at me and shut off his phone. "Sorry." He mumbled and I glanced down at his lips before looking away. "It's whatever." I said and checked my phone a final time before powering it off and putting it on my pocket.

"You look nice." He said and I glanced down at my outfit. "It's alright, I could've chose better pants and-" "No no, you look nice, you just look really pretty today." I paused and looked up at him. "I hate you. I hope you know that." He smiled and I nodded, leaning on the arm rest between us. "I hate you too." He mumbled back and the room started to darkness. The volume grew louder and I peeled my eyes off of him. Idiot.

I watched the movie and it grew quiet for a moment. I looked over at Kojiro and he was slumped over a little, half asleep. I chuckled and sat up in my seat, tickling his sides. He jumped and stared at me. I tickled him and he squirmed a little. "Oh my god, you're such an idiot." He whispered and tickled me back.

I laughed silently and he leaned against me, pushing me ever so gently against the back of the seat. The music picked back up and noise filled the theater again. "I was so close to falling asleep." He said and I looked at him with a smile. "I just couldn't pass up the opportunity." He looked in my eyes and I paused letting out a breath. I looked down and he slowly took his hands off of me.

They left my sides for a moment just to return to my face. I looked up at him and he was holding my face very gently, like he was afraid to break me. I froze and he searched my eyes. I leaned forward and slowly lifted up the arm rest. He moved closer and our legs pressed together. I felt my chest tighten and I struggled to breath. I closed my eyes and he leaned forward.

Our lips met for a split second and he immediately moved back. "Do you not want me to?" He asked and I opened my eyes. "Kiss me like a man, god what was that?" I said and sat up a little, giving myself leverage and kissing him for a few moments.

He made a soft noise and I held his face, my other hand wandering around his torso. I paused and slowly lifted his shirt, feeling his bare skin. Our kiss went on forever, our lips practically melting together. He eventually pulled away and I planted softly, our forehead pressed together. My lips felt numb and sort of on fire. I shuddered and kept him close.

"I hate you." I whispered and he tried to peck my lips but I moved back slightly. "I hate you so much." I said in a breath and he nodded softly. "I hate you too." I squinted my eyes open and our noses bumped together. I kissed him again and he gave a soft peck, holding me securely, his hands settling on my lower back. I finally pulled back completely and turned my focus back to the movie. He out his head on my shoulder and tried to find my hand. I met him halfway and held his hand loosely. I sighed before moving my hand back into my lap.

Kojiro drove me home afterwards and I sat in the passengers seat, playing with my hands. "Um, what was that?" He asked and I shrugged. "Probably a mistake." I said and looked up at him, biting my nails. He pulled into my driveway and I watched him. "I uh- I really liked it." He said and I looked away. "It was alright." I mumbled and it grew quiet. My chest tightened and I looked at his hands.

"It was my first kiss," I whispered and he stared at me. "Really?" I nodded and bit my nails. "Well you were really good. I wouldn't have known." I smiled slightly at him and frat chef at my neck. I leaned over and pecked his lips. "Night." I said and he kissed me back. "Good night." He smiled and his eyes followed me as I got out of the car. He honked and I flicked him off as I walked up the driveway. "Asshole!" I yelled at him and he waved out his window before driving off.
