I stood in the back of the room, occasionally glancing at my phone as every came inside. Reki walked up to me and leaned on the vibes. "Langa, why aren't you practicing?" He smiled and I hit his hands. "Don't do that." I looked at him and smiled back, just like a love stricken middle schooler.

"Langa!" Haru hit my ankle with her water bottle as she laid at my feet. "Stop flirting and come talk to me." I smiled and peeled my eyes from rekis. "Seriously, don't put too much weight on this, it's falling apart as it is." He nodded and walked off. I laid down next to Haru and she grabbed my face. "Fuck, you guys need to get together."

I smiled and wiped my face. "Stop, we're just friends." She let go of me and scoffed. "If I had a dollar for Everytime I've heard that and it be wrong, I'd being rich." I chuckled and sat up. "Whatever, I need to give reki something." She tripped me and I stumbled over her foot. "I hate you." I mouthed and she blew me a kiss. I grabbed the sweater sitting on my backpack and walked it over to reki.

"Thanks for letting me borrow it." He nodded and brushed his hair back, fixing his headband. "Of course, I can't let my..best friend, get cold." I held back my laughter and he looked in my eyes. "Do you want to go make out in the percussion closet?" I nodded eagerly and we hurried down the small hallway. I stumbled over empty cases and old harnesses and he grabbed my lower waist, pushing me against the wall.

He dropped the sweater on the ground and put his hands in my hair as we kissed each other like we haven't kissed in months. I caught myself as I slipped on a cloth on the floor and he laughed softly as he slipped his tongue against mine. I held onto him tight and I heard Ryuji and Aki walking towards the closet. I pushed him back and wiped my mouth, looking through the bin full of mallets.

Reki grabbed his sweater and pulled it over his thin shirt. My phone buzzed and I took it out of my pocket. I looked back at reki as he pushed passed Aki. And smiled to myself, pulling mallets out and walking back out into the band room. Reki sat at his chair, wiping his mouth and I sat down against the wall, reading his text over and over again.

I chewed at my lip and Haru looked at me. "Hey, I wasn't going to say anything but since you're clearly lying to me, so...maybe you should try and hid those hickey a little better." I blushed and covered my neck with my hand. "Shut up, asshat." I muttered and shut my phone off before rehearsal started.

I met reki outside and we quietly walked to the library across from the school. I grabbed his hand once we were away and he looked at me for a moment. "How do they not know?" He asked and I fixed my bag on my shoulder. "Because we can control ourselves." I lied and he glared at me. "Whatever, do you want to come to my house?"
