71. So much was going on

The next concert we were to going to play was at Slane Castle. The fact that the best show my dad ever played was exactly at Slane Castle in Ireland made me extremely anxious. There was no way I was going to live up to the expectations.
Fortunately, I had Maggie by my side.

We were riding from the airport to the hotel and Maggie kept scrolling through Instagram on her phone. Then, all of a sudden, she said:

- Oh my gosh! Josh, look at this!

She handed me her phone. On the screen there was a photo of Maggie at the backstage of my last show, smiling and posing in the Beatles T-shirt, with the caption: "The Beatles girl".

- Well, that's a beautiful picture.

I told her. Maggie did a facepalm and told me to look at the comments.
I immediately recognized Lilly's profile picture. She wrote: "OMG you're so pretty ❤️ love ya".

- I didn't expect that.

I said.

- She must've been stalking me! Look, now she's liking all of my pictures!

Maggie panicked.

- What's the big deal? I thought you girls liked one another.

- Um, I think we do. But I've only seen her once and all she knows about me is my name!

Mag explained.

- Follow her back. I wanna see her photos.

I said and Maggie immediately frowned.

- I'm such a dumbass. I don't wanna check her out, you know I fucking hate he. I just wanna see if she's not posting photos of Johnny. I don't want his face to be out there.

I told Maggie, trying my best to explain what I meant.
She agreed and followed Lilly. Then a message popped up on the screen.

- She DMed me. "Hey, Maggie! ❤️ It's Lilly, Johnny's mom. Emily showed me your account. I love your photos! I hope you're having a great time touring."

Maggie read the message out loud.

- That was actually really nice.

I said.
Mag opened Lilly's account and I was hit with dozens of photos of my ex with Steve. Fortunately, Lilly only showed Johnny from behind or posed with the stroller in such a way that you couldn't see our son. Then Maggie kept scrolling down and finally found photos of me and Lilly.
She deleted all of the photos of us kissing but there were still pictures of her baby bump with my hands on it, our intertwined hands as we were walking at the beach, or me playing guitar with my back facing the camera.

- Mag, let's stop there. That's enough. I don't want you looking at this. Whatever is on these pictures, it's in the past now.

I said and wrapped my arm around my girlfriend.

- I know, Josh... I know but it hurts seeing you with other women... God, I'm stupid. She's your ex, I shouldn't care...

Maggie told me and rested her head on my shoulder.
I began caressing her cheek and gave her a kiss.

- Now you're my whole world. I love you, Magdalene. Let's just disregard Lilly's message and forget about it. You can block her if you want to.

I said.

- No, that's fine. I'll reply. She was nice to me.

Maggie told me with a faint smile.

- Baby, I really don't care what decision you make. I couldn't care less if Lilly's gonna be mad at me or not.
