The next morning knocking on the door woke us up. Maggie's head still rested on my chest.

- Shit, we're dead. What if your mom thinks we had sex or something...

I whispered to Mag.

- I don't give a fuck, I had the best sleep in my whole life. You're the most comfortable pillow.

Maggie giggled and kissed my lips.

- Come on, open the door.

I said.

Maggie stood up and unlocked the door. Her mom came into the room with two plates full of food.

- I made Maggie's favorite sandwiches with peanut butter and jelly. I hope you like them, Josh.

She said as she placed the plates on Mag's desk.

- Yes, they are my favorite as well.

I said and smiled to her.

- It's great to see you both smiling. I decided I wasn't gonna wake you up last evening when I heard you snoring.

Christine said and gave us a smile.

- I'm sorry, I know I should not sleep in here, it won't happen again. I must have been too tired and fallen sleep...

I explained myself.

- That's okay, you promised me something. Now enjoy your breakfast.

Mrs Hill said and left the room.

- Whoa, it went smoothly.

I told Maggie and gave her another kiss.

- She's cool, I told you.

She replied. We ate breakfast and listened to music together.

- Baby, what am I supposed to do? I won't leave you alone.

- I won't be alone, I'll have my mom. That's how I spent most of my life.

- I don't want you to sit at home and get depressed. I'd be back in December. That's a long time. Plus being on tour has always made me go crazy. I did some stupid shit before. After spending every day with the same 3 guys you just can't stand each other at the end of the tour.

- I thought you're friends?

- Yeah, we are. It's just... I don't know, I'm not like everyone else and I've never been.

- Of course you're not, that's why I love you.

Maggie said and kissed me.

- Can I tell you something?

I asked my girlfriend.

- Sure, go on.

I closed the door and sat on Mag's bed.

- I did drugs while I was touring. I'd wander the streets looking for dealers and then get high out of my mind. I had been to rehab twice. I haven't touched coke for almost 2 years now and I'm not gonna do it again. I just had to tell you.

Maggie sat close to me and hugged me.

- I don't know what to say. I appreciate that you're so sincere but I can't imagine why you did that...

- It's not so easy to explain. I felt I was a disappointment and drugs helped me forget. At least that's what I thought. I had hurt my dad so badly... You don't even imagine.
