I'm so sorry for the delay in updating but I was graduating from school and had final exams so I wasn't able to write anything.

I got off the stage, covered in sweat. Flea patted me on the back.

- It was a great show, man!

I brushed hair away from my face and gave him a smile. I felt like I was on high. The energy of the crowd was making me feel ecstatic. It was my third concert as a second guitarist and back-up singer and I didn't ever want to do anything else. It was my destiny.
I was waiting in a dressing room for dad to come back, but he still wasn't there.

- Josh, John wants you to go on stage, he's still playing for the audience.

Said Anthony, appearing in the doorway.

- He's totally mad. I'm wasted.

I made my way to the left part of the stage where he was standing. As he finished his cover of Bee Gees, he spoke up.

- This is my son, Josh. I'm sure you enjoyed him playing tonight. I want you to make noice for him!

People started screaming and calling my name.

- Thank you for coming here, playing for you was magical. Good night, I hope you had a lot of fun.

I said through the microphone and we went off the stage once again.

- Josh, I've got a surprise for you, it's outside the building. Do you wanna see it?

Dad asked me when we reached the dressing room. Of course I nodded.

We were in New York, what could it be? He wouldn't buy me a car and get it delivered here. A new guitar wouldn't wait for me outside. Maybe Clara was there? She didn't say that she was coming but maybe she did that on purpose.

When we were outside the building, I finally saw what he meant. There were my grandparents, waiting for us with huge smiles on their faces. I was so happy to finally see them again.

- Hey! I'm sorry that you had to wait but I wanted Josh to join me on stage after the concert.

- That's fine son, we loved your performance. Josh, we are so proud of you, grandson! We bought your new record. It is the greatest one you've ever made so far, Johnny.

- Thank you mom. I've booked a table for us in our favourite restaurant. We should be going.

The place wasn't that far away. Of course, it was an elegant Italian restaurant.

- You see Josh, this is where your grandparents met. We used to have dinners there every Sunday when I was little.

- That's amazing, it seems like you had a great childhood.

- We were young parents but we tried our best to rise John well.

My grandmother said, squeezing his hand.

- Josh, we thought that maybe after the tour you would like to spend some time with us, here, in New York.

- Wow, it would be great. Dad, how will you manage to live without me?

I joked. John smiled and run his hand through my hair.

- Oh, I don't know. You will have to call me everyday to wish me a good night, I won't fall asleep without it.
