- Jesus Christ, I'm so exhausted... But I'd been sleeping during the whole flight!

Lilly said, throwing herself onto the bed.

- You need to rest, baby, I want you and our son to be healthy. I'll cook the dinner.

- No, you don't need to. We can order a take out, I'm really hungry.

- Sure, that's sounds even better.

We have just arrived from the airport and I didn't really feel like doing anything but I needed to take care of Lilly.

I've just finished ordering pizza when my phone rang. It was Gail.

"Hello granny!"

"Hi Josh, your dad has called us saying that you're back. How is Lilly doing? Is it safe for her to travel? We were worrying about you. I hope your vacation was great."

"Don't worry, we've spoken to her doctor. Next week we have an appointment to check if everything is alright. I promise to call you then. We were having amazing time, this place is incredible."

"That's great. I'll be waiting for your call. When is the baby due?"

"10th of December. Right before Christmas."

"I'll make sure that we'll be there. I want to see my great-grandson so badly."

"I love you grandma, talk to you later."

- Your blood works results are perfect, that's good. Now let's check on the baby. It's 23rd week today, right?

- Yes it is.

He's started the ultrasound and for the first time I saw a baby on the screen. At the first examination I couldn't figure out where the head and the rest of the body was, but now it was clear. My beautiful baby.

- Your son weights around 600 grams. That's really good. His heartbeat is fine, he's moving a lot. I think he's doing very well. See you in a month.

Said the doctor and we finally went out of his office. Then I drove Lilly to her parent's house and came back home.

As soon as I sat on the couch and turned the TV on, there was a knock on my door.

- Hey, can I come in?

I've heard John's voice.

- Sure dad, the door is unlocked.

He went inside and sat next to me.

- How was the appointment? Where's Lilly?

- Her parents wanted her to spend the day with them, her cousins came over. The baby is fine, really healthy. I saw him on the screen, he was moving his arms and legs. It was amazing.

- Oh, I see. It's great to see you so happy. We are all really excited about your baby.

- Dad, I've got an idea. You aren't busy, are you?

- No, I'm not. What's up?

- I'm sure Flea, Anthony and Chad are doing nothing exciting as well. Let's throw a party or go to a bar on Sunset, I'm so in mood.

- I can tell you are, kid. Sure, let's call them.

An hour later we were getting off the taxi at Sunset Strip. Anthony was already waiting for us. Then Flea and Chad appeared.

- Hey, thanks for inviting us, John told us that you're really hyped up today.

- Yeah, my son is healthy and I feel like getting shitfaced.
