On the way home we bought some chips and a couple of bottles of Coke. Both me and Maggie loved junk food.
Once we were back, we met with John's disapproval.

- I could make you a smoothie or a salad, why are you eating this junk?

He complained.

- Sugar's addictive.

I said and looked at Maggie. She laughed and nodded her head.

We were listening to music and chatting until 10 PM. Meanwhile Emily had put Hope to sleep.

- How was modeling? I forgot to ask you earlier.

John inquired.

- Amazing.

Maggie answered.

- Actually not that bad.

I added.

- Whoa, I didn't expect to hear that from you! I thought you only like taking selfies.

John's reaction was priceless.

- Wait, does Josh even know how to take selfies?

Maggie asked. I flipped her off. Emily began laughing.

- Of course I do, you dumb ass. I used to have an Instagram account!

I told her.

- Everyday I'm learning new things about you. What is tomorrow gonna bring?

She joked.

- Surely not me cooking the dinner.

I answered. Emily lost her shit again.

- Oh, I was hoping for that.

- My ex tried to teach me but I miserably failed.

- At least I'm the one who can cook.

John told us.

- Yeah, like 2 dishes!

- Okay, stop dissing each other. Josh, I think we need to go home.

Maggie told me and grabbed my hand.

- You can stay here if you want.

John offered.

- Dad, don't forget she's 16, you didn't let me sleep with Clara when I was 18.

- Are you even surprised? You were two irresponsible kids. Clara still is.

John said and it made us laugh.

- I'll call my mom.

Maggie said and left the room. She came back smiling.

- She agreed. Oh, and she told me to say hello to you.

Then we watched a couple of videos from our old concerts. I didn't even know that John asked the technicians to film.

- Oh my gosh, Josh, you were so chubby! And short!

Maggie exclaimed.

- Thanks, honey.

I replied.

- You were so cute, I'd totally fall for you!

She added.

- Yeah, you were like 11 back then. I'm sure your mom would approve.

I joked.

Mag sat next to Emily and they began talking about the girly stuff. Then they went upstairs. As soon as they disappeared, John looked at me and put 2 fingers to his lips, pretending he was smoking. Then he pointed to the front door. Oh, sure, he wanted to go out for a smoke.
