We took the elevator to the 20th floor. Clara's studio was in a skyscraper in the Downtown.

- Are you excited?

I asked Maggie. We were holding hands during the whole the way there.

- Yeah, I can't wait.

She responded and smiled to me. We reached the floor and found Clara in a hallway.

- You're late!

She shouted at us.

- Jeez, calm down. We're sorry.

I said and hugged Clara.

- I wouldn't be angry if the designer wasn't here. He wants to see you first.

- Oh shit.

Maggie whispered. Clara grabbed our hands and dragged us into her studio.

- Michael, here are our models.

She told a tall guy wearing eccentric clothes.

- Finally. I like you, guys. You've got a unique style. How tall are you?

- 5'11.

I said.

- 5'9.

Maggie replied.

- Alright, let's go and try on the first outfit. Clara, show this stunning girl her clothes. And you, handsome, come with me.

He commanded. Maggie went to another room with Clara and I followed the designer into a small dressing room.

- Okay, I want you to try on these pants with this shirt and that sweater. Oh, and put these boots on.

He pointed on one set of clothes and sat in a chair in the corner of the room. He was watching me undress and put on the outfit.

- Have you been modeling before? You've got a perfect body for that job. And your gaze is really interesting. You could make it big.

The designer asked.

- No, it's only a one time thing for me.

I responded while buttoning my pants.

- Well, if you change your mind, contact Clara. I'd have some more offers for you. Actually if you're free next month, I'll be needing models for my new launch.

- I can't guarantee you that. My job is kinda unpredictable. I don't know where I'm gonna be next week.

I said and looked in the mirror. I really liked that outfit. Clara was right. The clothes were my style. I was wearing drop crotch black skinny pants, a white t-shirt, a dark brown button up sweater and Doc Martens.

- So what's your job?

- I play guitar in a band. We do tour a lot, so you know, I'm busy most of the time.

- Oh really? I like charismatic people. You've got that mysterious aura. The clothes fit perfectly, that's great. Now let's take care of your hair.

He said and guided me to yet another room. There were two hair stylists and makeup artists.
One of them applied gel to my hair and began styling it.
Then Maggie entered the room. I almost didn't recognize her.
She was wearing Doc Martens platform shoes, a ripped jeans skirt and a black crop top. It was the first time I saw her dressed so feminine.

- Don't look at me, please.

Maggie told me as she sat next to me.

- Why? You look awesome!
