Sorry I've been MIA lately. I have zero inspiration.

After the soundcheck, I decided to rehearse a bit more before the show. I told Maggie to join me and showed her how to use pedals and stuff.
- This riff is awesome, which song is it?
Mag asked me when I began playing Blood Sugar Sex Magik.
- Oh, you'll see later.
I replied. I appreciated my dad's job more and more each time I played that song. That pedal totally transformed the riff. He was a genius.
A week earlier I sent Anthony a list of songs that were rarely played live which I wanted to include in the setlists: Venice Queen, Aeroplane, Blood Sugar, Breaking The Girl, Knock Me Down and Don't Forget Me.
Maggie sat on an amp and watched me practicing with a smile on her face. I loved that girl so much. We've agreed to forget about what happened the day before. It wasn't the right time. I was planning on preparing something special for her to make it more romantic. We'd be staying in London for 2 more days before leaving for Glasgow so I had to figure it out pretty quickly.

Maggie and Clara disappeared in the crowd. They told me they wanted to feel like the rest of the fans and enjoy the show from their perspective.
- Ready?
Flea asked me as I was finishing my coffee.
- Yeah, but I'm super nervous.
I told him.
- To play new songs or to play in front of Maggie?
- You know me so well.
I laughed nervously.
Then we heard it was time to hit the stage. I walked as the last one, grabbed my guitar and started playing immediately.
After a quick intro jam, we started with Around The World. I locked my eyes with Maggie's a couple of times while singing the backing vocals. I was having a blast playing that show. I jumped around and jammed with Flea and Chad. Having someone who always supported me no matter what was amazing. My mind was clear and straight.
Don't forget me is one of the finest pieces they've recorded in my opinion. I totally let myself go during the outro. I was kneeling on the floor, flipping my hair. I was so into the notes I was playing.
At the end we played Blood Sugar Sex Magik. As soon as the audience heard me play the riff, they became wild. Everyone was jumping and singing along with Anthony.
"Blood sugar baby
She's magik
Sex magik, sex magik"
I tried to come up with a mad solo and guessing by the amount of applause, I did. Maggie was dancing in such a sensual way. I couldn't get my eyes off her swaying hips. I couldn't wait to taste her sweet lips. This song was working real magic on people.
Anthony thanked everyone for coming and we walked off the stage. When the lights went out, I headed back to the left side of the stage and picked up my guitar from the stand. I wanted to play something special just for Magdalene.
"Before all of this ever went down
In another place, another town
You were just a face in the crowd
You were just a face in the crowd
Out in the street walking around
A face in the crowd
Out of a dream, out of the sky
Into my heart, into my life
And you were just a face in the crowd
You were just a face in the crowd
Out in the street, thinking out loud
A face in the crowd
Out of a dream, out of the sky
Into my heart, into my life
And you were just a face in the crowd
You were just a face in the crowd
Out in the street walking around
A face in the crowd
A face in the crowd
A face in the crowd
A face in the crowd."
